Ted pressed his lips to Andi's temple, just shooting a wicked grin at Roland. "Could just pinch your cheeks," he mocked, all in good fun.
"You know, this is a pretty good crowd for us, actually. Usually, there are a lot more people on assignment." It was rough getting all of the Aurors together, even when they had their meetings. Which, come to think of it, they hadn't had one of those in a long time. Maybe no news was good news.
When no one seemed to move, Ted laughed. "All right, fine, I'll lead the way. Come on." He started towards the hall, though he had no idea where they were going. It didn't matter- as long as he acted like he did, people would follow.

Andi leaned against Ted as he began to lead the group toward the lifts. "We're going to Galligan's, by the way," she said, as much for his benefit as everyone else's. She felt like she was sort of in charge of everything, since it had been her idea. She just hoped Alana was comfortable. It had to be a little overwhelming to meet so many people all at once, and when she thought about it, she could hardly blame Alana's partner for not wanting to be involved.
She looked over at the woman, and, determining her to be far enough away at the moment that she wouldn't hear, Andi leaned a little closer to Ted. "I think she likes her partner, by the way. I met him, just for a moment. He seems very reserved, but he's close to her. Is it terrible that I want to try and help fix them up?"

Alana was happy with the group that had gathered; she knew it was a pretty good size for Aurors, knowing how hard department outings were to put together in Germany. People were always so busy, and it left Alana wondering if she had picked the right department to work with. All she had to do was think of Rutger to know she made the right decision; if she hadn't become an Auror, she would have never met him.
She followed Ted and the group, looking around as they walked. She would request a tour of the office, find out where everyone's desks were, sometime while she was here, just in case she ever had to return to England to work. She liked the people enough to request a transfer, but she wasn't sure if Rutger would transfer with her. She shook her head and smiled; leaving her decision up to a man that probably didn't feel the same way about her was foolish. They did kiss, Alana knew she hadn't imagined that. Maybe he really did care for her...
“Before I go back to Germany we’ll have to get the entire office together.” She said. She loved huge groups of people, she always felt comfortable in them. Rutger, she knew, wouldn’t tag along, however. “I would have to make Rutger come, tell him it would be rude to turn you all down again.” She said with a smile, imagining that conversation.
