Alyx was having a fantastic time at the Yule Ball, but a large part of her was overwhelmed. The night was almost over and the magic would soon run out but she would never forget all that had happened, she would never forget how beautiful she had felt, or how many people had asked her to dance.

She didn't speak to anyone but rather let her eyes do the talking they would ask for her name and she would just smile and switch partners. Behind a mask she was capable of anything.

Still she needed some fresh air and decided to sneak out onto the balcony, she didn't realize however that she wasn't the first one there.
