Amber isn't a confident girl. She would rather spend her time reading than being out and getting into trouble. She's a very quiet girl who doesn't voice her opinion unless her sister is around. She is not that good at making new friends, and so she only has two really close friends, but she tends to be good at resolving disputes so she can keep friends rather than lose them.
History:
Amber was born in Ireland with a twin sister, Maura. Her father was a ministry worker and her mother owned a shop, and she had an older brother whom Amber never talked to that much, considering her shyness even around her own family, and the fact he left for Hogwarts when Amber and Maura were still very young. As letters came from her brother, Amber began to become very excited about starting Hogwarts and began to read everything she could get her hands on from the time she was seven. For this reason, Amber and Maura grew apart from one another, but they still retain the bond that only twins can have.
When Amber got her Hogwarts letter, she was so excited that she asked her father to buy her some new books, even if she didn't need them right away, and he did. Her sister didn't understand why she would rather prefer time with books than with boys, but Amber didn't care.
At Hogwarts, Amber was put into the right house and made a close friend, one she still has now, that shares her love of reading and someone Amber trusts all her secrets to.
