Personality: Fun loving girl that tends to get herself in trouble. She bites her lip when she’s concentrating on something. She listens intently when things get serious. She’s been known to switch from guy to guy often. The friends she has, she holds dear. She fights with her sister although she loves her. She and her sister can share a look that holds a whole conversation. She sneaks out to the towers late at night since her first year. And she can’t fall asleep with out the covers over her head and feet.
History: She and her sister have been inseparable since they were born. She’s a twin with her sister Amber and the only difference in their looks is their hair color. She got her mom’s while Amber got her dad’s. They grew up in a country home in Ireland, not too rich but were able to keep themselves dressed and fed well. Her father worked in the ministry and her mother owned a clothing shop in a local town about fifteen minutes away. They spent a lot of time with their brother too until he moved on to Hogwarts when they were only 5. After he left, distance began to grow between the two girls. Amber was so excited for Hogwarts and to be the best that she started reading advanced books by age 7. With Amber’s head always shoved in a book, Maura learned to meet new people and fell in “love” with a boy on a farm near by. He was about 9 or so and adorable in her eyes. She spent a lot of time following him around his farm until she finally got bored and met a neighboring farmer’s kid, this time 12. She became more and more interested with boys while Amber became more and more interested in books and school. She thought her sister was a nerd so they grew even further apart.
When Maura and Amber turned 11, they got anxious for their letters and when they finally arrived, a party was held for the kids. As they were going in to school, their brother Xander was going out. It was an exciting time for their family.
They went to Hogwarts and were sorted into the proper houses and they met so many more new people. Amber went off with the nerdy kids who loved her for all the information she’d already self taught and Maura went off with the “normal kids” who laughed and played pranks on other first years.
While being in school, Maura fell even more in love with boys. So much that she didn’t know what to do with herself. She went from boy to boy and didn’t fall in love with any one of them. She just stayed until she got bored and then moved on. She was the real fun-loving popular type that loved the center of attention while her twin sister was the complete opposite.
