OK, so this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) I probably won't be around too much. On Saturday, my sister and I are going to a big outdoor concert festival thing in New York, and we'll be staying overnight there. We'll be back on Sunday, but then we have to meet some relatives who have come up from Florida and who we have never met before, so I suspect most of Sunday will be busy with that. But I will definitely be back by Sunday night, and I will try to get caught up as much as possible tonight and tomorrow. Rori, love, you're in charge.  |

Thanks! Technically, it's not actually in New York City... it's outside of the city somewhere.

Oh, and for those that are interested, this is the place I went to: www.caramoor.org/The event we went to is no longer listed, since it's passed, but it was a bluegrass mini-festival with three different bands... the main one of which was the Punch Brothers (because my sister wants to marry Chris Thile. And yet, she's still too shy to talk to him, lol). The location was beautiful... it was this big estate nestled in the woods in upstate New York, and they have a little theatre built there for concerts and stuff. They even sold picnic lunches, which we could eat on the grass. So it was fun. |

I haven't felt much like posting today, what with having a rib-eating contest with my brother earlier (which I lost...) and playing the Wii, but now that I don't don't feel as bloated I'm in the mood to post. I'm really glad you had a great time! I looked the place up and the pictures I got looked really pretty. I've always wanted to see New York, but now that I live on the other side of the country, I don't think I'll get there anytime soon. :\ Your sister sounds a lot like me, haha. |
