Kim wanted to do something with her twin sister Kat since their birthday was coming up, but she had no ideas. Yes, this was the girl that she was raised with and continues to spend a lot of time with, but Kim was always bad at gift ideas, and this year was no different.
Finally, after hours of deciding what to do, Kim left a note on the kitchen table telling Kat to meet her at the gardens so they could spend time together outside of work. Kim loved the flowers there, and she cared about her sister, so it seemed like a good match.
Kim was wandering by the daisies when she heard footsteps behind her. She turned around and smiled, knowing who it was already.

Katheryn walked into the kitchen that morning and saw the note left on the table from her twin sister. She smiled and quickly went upstairs to get ready to meet her sister. She dried her hair with a flick of her wand and rushed out the door so Kim wasn't left waiting.
She walked through the garden breathing through her nose so she could smell every flower and every plant that surrounded her. She loved taking walks through the garden and being surrounded by nature. It was such a beautiful thing for her.
She spotted her sister after a few minutes and smiled as she turned around. "Hey Kim. What a great idea to spend the day here! I've been stuck inside so much lately." She said to her with a cheery grin.

Kim smiled, glad to know she had picked the right place. She was worried that her sister would be tired of getting something related to flowers every birthday; flower purfumes, flower cards, magical items that changed into different flowers...Kim knew her sister likes flowers, so she usually got something of that nature and gave it to Kat.
Kim hugged her sister tightly, feeling as if it had been a while since she last did. "I'm glad you think so. I was beginning to get worried you'd be getting bored of flowers around our birthday." Kim said with a laugh. She looked around the garden and sighed. "Where to start..." she thought outloud, looking to Kat. She would let her pick this time; Kim picked last time.

Katheryn merely laughed at her sister. It was true that they usually had flowers to give each other for their birthday but she honestly didn't mind. She loved flowers and could spend all day picking them, looking at them, smelling them. But, then again she felt the same about baked goods.
"How bout we start with the lillys. I saw them on my way over to you and they looked so beautiful." She said, smiling at her twin sister. She pushed up her sleeves and pulled her hair into a messy bun, like she usually did before baking.

Kim smiled and looked over to where the lillies were. She spent so much time in the garden she knew where everything was; it was practically a second home to her. Kim laughed to herself, thinking it was abusurd to have a flower place be like a second home, but it was true. The bakery was her first, of course; that was her real home growing up.
"The lillies sound like a lovely place to start!" She said, and she starting walking over to them. "How have you been, Kat? It seems like we never talk about anything outside of the bakery."

Katheryn walked with her to the lillies and began looking at all the different colors of the beautiful garden. She took out some clippers from a basket she had brought along with her and started clipping a couple of her favorites.
"I've been well, I suppose. Been overwhelmed with the bakery but its alright. People seem to be needing baked goods more and more as summer comes up." She said with a shrug. "There have been so many parties lately. We've sold more decorative cakes than ever in the past month." She replied. The bakery was her life. She never exactly had a boyfriend or anyone to spend her time with other than Kim but she didn't entirely mind.
