Roxanna hadn't seen Nick all day, and since she had gotten attached to him at the Yule Ball, all day felt like a week. She searched the Black Lake first, thinking he may be there with his friends, but he wasn't. Roxanna asked around and finally got an answer, one that she should have thought first--the Quidditch pitch.
Roxanna walked onto the pitch, still not thinking she belonged there, even though she really wanted to play next year. Nick had taken her there before to teach her things that would be useful in helping her get on the team, and so Roxanna was better at playing, but of course nowhere near Nick's level.
Finally, she saw him from across the pitch. She began walking towards him, waving to get his attention. "Nick! Over here!" She yelled as loudly as she could to try and get his attention.

Nick had woken up early to get some time in on the pitch that day. He took his broom and keeper gloves and a quaffle and flew up to the goals. He magicked the Quaffle to fly at him from different angles so he could work on his Keeper skills.
He had been practicing for a while and noticed that his nose was getting sunburned. He heard someone calling his name an he turned to see Roxanna waving at him. He grinned and waved back. Just out of the corner of his eye, he saw the Quaffle flying at him. "Ah!" Nick rolled over his broom, dodging the flying ball. He pulled out his wand and aimed at the ball. "Accio Quaffle," Nick said and it floated right to him. Nick smirked at the ball. See, he paid attention in Charms.
Nick flew down to Roxanna and smiled at her. "Hey there," Nick said. "What are you up to?"

Roxanna couldn't help but chuckle as Nick dodged the Quaffle as it flew at him. She loved watching him on the pitch, even if it was just practice, because she could see how much he really loved the sport, and all those talks they had about it weren't just fan-related about the topic. Roxanna loved seeing him doing something he enjoyed.
"Nothing, I just hadn't seen you all day and wanted to come say hi. I'm sorry if I interrupted anything." She said, and returned the smile. Roxanna didn't understand until today that she didn't want to go an entire day without seeing him.

"Nah you didn't interrupt anything," Nick said. He could feel that his forehead was slightly sunburned. "I've been out here all day. I just wish there were regular practices, tournament or not..." Nick said with a shrug.
He landed neatly next to Roxanna and climbed of his broom. It wasn't until he wasn't airborne anymore that he tripped over his own feet and stumbled slightly. Nick resisted from rolling his eyes. He was only graceful in the air on a broom, any other time he was just a clumsy idiot.
"So how've you been?" Nick asked, playing off his little stumble and leaning on his broom.

Roxanna had learned to just smile when Nick would stumble. She used to ask him if he was okay, or if he needed to sit down, but she since learned it was just his way when he was off of his broom, so she held back the questions now.
"I've been alright. Magical creatures is still really hard for me, and I have a test coming up. I was stuck inside studying, so I decided to come out and find you!" She said. Her "studying" was more looking at pictures and trying to memorise them than actually reading. "Have you been out here all day?"

Nick would have offered to help her with Magical creatures... but he had dropped the class after his third year. Unlike his sister, animals didn't like him very much. He had been bitten 6 times before Christmas (and those were just the creatures who could only bite).
"Studying, yea, never heard of the concept," Nick smirked. "Yea, Since breakfast anyway, and my sister threw a quaffle at me for a while, but she had to go...I actually dunno where she went, but then I just charmed the ball from then on..." he paused. "All day? What time is it?" he laughed.
