Down, in the basement, well away from the lights and noise of the above ground world, was a room. It was a very sparsely decorated room, only a very basic bed and table with two chairs. A trunk sat at the foot of the bed. The only ornate thing that appeared to be in the room was a scimitar that was hung above the door. It looked very old, but meticulously kept clean.
Kept within this room, sleeping during the light ours, was Voldemort's pet. As the sun set that night, her eyes opened and she sat up.
Tonight, two things were to happen. First, she would be meeting her new keeper. Not that it matter much to her, but the last had died of uncertain causes. Only a few pieces here and there could be found of the person.
The second thing to happen was a mission. A note was left on her table, a picture beside it. It was of a middle aged witch. This was her target for the night.
The creature moved over to the trunk and pulled out a few things, ritualistically taking them one at a time over to the table and placing them down. First came two kukri daggers. Each was placed with the blades facing inward, close to the edge of the table. Next came a wand made of dark reddish to black wood. The last thing to come out was a small box, only about 8 inches by 12 inches.
She opened the box and pulled out a stone. With the stone, she began to sharpen the Kukris, slowly drawing it over the blades in graceful, smooth swipes.

Jaden adjusted his leather coat around him and pushed his sunglasses up to cover his eyes. Even as the sun was setting, he always wore them. Mostly to keep people from noticing him. He walked at a brisk pace, keeping his head low. He had received a note via "slipped under his apartment door" saying that he had business to attend to and he "knew where to go". And somehow, he did. The note specified to come only at night and since Jaden was walking, that is exactly when he would get there.
By the time the sun had gone down, Jaden only had a mile or so to talk till he got to his destination. He wasn't nervous, anxious, or excited. He was just doing his job, something he was used to since his last few years as a Slytherin at Hogwarts. He managed to have some say so in his schedule at Gringotts, so he was able to get the night off. When he arrived where he was called, he pulled his glasses off. He rubbed his eyes and sighed. Of course the place was nice and creepy. With decaying fences, dying flowers, and no lights on in the place at all, it was exactly what he had expected for a death eater meeting place.
Jaden stepped over a broken fence board and walked around the house to the back door. He had to give himself credit, he wasn't stupid. The easiest way to get killed was to walk through the front door of a creepy old house. As he reached for the handle, he looked around. He was keenly observant and he had the strangest feeling that something was wrong. He leaned back on his heels and thought. If he was doing something secret and probably wrong in every way, where would he hold a meeting? Jaden looked to the left and noticed two doors facing up that led to the basement. He smirked. Of course. He walked over, his feet sinking into the wet grass a little, and reached for one of the door handles. Again he stopped himself. After years of being a curse breaker at Gringotts, he was cautious about opening things that he had no idea where they led. He pulled his wand out and muttered a couple of spells and words in romanian. Luckily, he was right to check. There was only one curse on the door, but it was an extremely painful one. This time, when he reached for the handle, he pulled one of the doors open. It opened swiftly and quietly, signaling to him that it was used quite often.
Jaden stepped quietly and stealthily through the opening and down the cellar steps. The site he was met with was very intriguing. He leaned against the wall and crossed his arms. "So, when do we start?"

The creature did not look up from her work. Instead, all she did was slide an envelope and the note and picture over to Jaden, across the table. There was another chair, waiting for him there. She continued her sharpening of the Kukris for a while longer before pulling a rather used rag out of the box. She swiftly wiped the blades clean of any residue from the sharpening.
The note had a name written on it. Tina Korenso. That was the target of the night. It also had a location on it. Ottery St Catchpole. That is where the woman lived. Her address was there and the picture of her.
Within the envelope was a short letter to Jaden.
"Jaden. This is your new assignment. Her name is Kryshna. You are to watch her and apparate her to where she needs to be. You are also to be the one to cast the Dark Marks over her targets once the assignations are completed by her. Do not loose her, or I shall be very disappointed."
By the time he was done reading the assignments and the letter, the creature, now known as Kryshna, was shining her wand. Her dark eyes looked up at him as she placed the rag down. Quickly, she fastened everything onto herself and a moment later, was ready to go. She stood there, looking down at him, waiting to leave.

Jaden did not sit down. He wasn't comfortable enough. He just watched this woman slide an envelope across the table to him. He picked it up and looked at the wax seal on the back. It was the dark mark. Jaden smirked. Finally. Orders from the top. He broke the seal and inside found a picture of an older witch, apparently named Tina, and a letter for him.
"Jaden. This is your new assignment. Her name is Kryshna. You are to watch her and apparate her to where she needs to be. You are also the one to cast the Dark Mark over her targets once the assassinations are completed. Do not lose her, or I shall be very disappointed."
Jaden groaned and looked at this woman, Kryshna was her name, and groaned again. "I'm a babysitter now?" He whispered to himself. About the time he memorized the woman's face and the city name where she lived, the woman had slid all her polished weapons in their place and stood. She just stared at him.
"Alright Kryshna," he said with a slight sneer, "Let's go." he held out his arm for her to place her hand and then he would apparate them to go complete their first job.

The two had returned only an hour before the sun came up. Kryshna quickly slipped back into her windowless dungeon and removed her weapons. She began doing exactly as she had been doing when he arrive earlier that evening.
This time, she took her wand and pointed at each of her bloody kukri. A second later, the blood was removed from them and she began polishing them like before, making sure that each was pristine before being placed back in their sheath.
While polishing her weapons, her eyes went to him, watching him closely. She only looked away when she needed to check to see if the blade was clean. Would this one be as careless as the last? Or would he actually survive these assignments?
