The Slytherin fifth year stepped into the library, late Friday afternoon. It was her usual routine. After a week of classes, she would.. well.. usually spend the week end in the library. She so vary rarely ever went to Hogsmeade. If it was not for her caliginous demeanor towards people, many believed she probably would have ended up in Ravenclaw, with how much she studies.
In truth, she studied so much because she hated people. She, in her honest opinion, had never met a human being, muggle or magic, which was worth anything. She believed each had their own agenda and would do anything possible to get what they want. She had yet to be proven wrong.
So, instead of spending time listening to the words of humans, she spent her time reading the words of books. She understood that, for the most part, were as well written by humans. But at least with books, they could not change their mind if someone was not falling for their tricks, nor could they argue if one did not believe them.
So, for now, she remained seated within the labyrinth of shelves within the library. It’s silence filled her and she was glad for a reprieve from the noise of the rest of the students.

Kassia had come into the library looking for her younger twin knowing that there was a good chance the girl would be in there but it seemed pretty empty then she saw a familiar face.
"Oh, hey Arie, have you seen Allaire anywhere?" she asked cordially. She had always been polite to the Slytherin in her year, never saw a reason not to even though the girl more often than not kept to herself.

Ariesa let out a quiet, but exasperated, sigh. She did not move her head but turned her eyes to look up at Kassia. Another Slytherin from her year. She was looking for her twin. Ariesa could never tell the two apart. Usually because she didn't care enough to actually pay attention to those around her. They were all human, so none of them truely mattered.
Her answer to the twin standing before her was a very basic shrug. Her eyes remained on Kassia for the moment, waiting to see if the girl had any other questions.

Kassie sighed, "Thanks anyway." she offered turning around. It wasn't extremely important that she find her sister but she felt a little more on edge these days because of her older sister's impending marriage as well as what activities the girl had been up to behind closed doors. She felt responsible, perhaps because she was the "responsible" one.
"How have you been Ariesa?"

Ariesa took a deep breath, letting it out slowly, before she closed the book she had been reading. She turned in her stool to completely face Kassia. Her deep blue eyes looked up at her school mate, quietly analyzing her before she gave a short shrug of her shoulders. It appeared as though she was not getting out of this one with a simple shrug or short answers.
"I am. Everything is as it is to be, for now."

(Hope you don't mind if I join...)
Brenda hated the library. She almost never set foot in the moldy old room, and in her seven years at Hogwarts, she had only been here about five times. What reason did she have to go to the library, when she had other people do all of her homework for her? In addition to her "friend" Daphne, she also had a couple of Ravenclaw boys that she would get to do other assignments for her in exchange for "favors."
Unfortunately, however, the NEWTs were coming up, and cheating wasn't going to be an option. So she was going to make herself a potion that would enable her to absorb knowledge faster, in order to cram for the test. Of course, this potion wasn't exactly endorsed, and the book that contained it was in the Restricted Section. She was in the process of looking for a dumb guy to con into helping her get into the Restricted Section, when she saw two girls from her house nearby. Kassia she knew, of course--who didn't know the Burke Princesses? The other girl she might have seen around, but didn't really pay much attention to. Still, Brenda did like to stir things up for no reason than to see other people uncomfortable. So she walked over to the two girls and leaned against the shelves. "Either of you two know how to get into the Restricted Section?" she asked without preamble.

Apparently, Ariesa was not going to get the silence that she wished for in the library. Another Slytherin had walked up to the two girls. Ariesa's eyes had now moved on to the new arrival: Brenda Blair. Why would a seventh year come to a fifth year for assistance in getting into the restricted section of the library? All one needed was a note from a teacher. Slughorn was usually willing to hand them out like candy to his favored students. Perhaps she just did not fit the bill.
Ariesa flicked her thumb nail across the tip of her forefinger, considering Brenda a moment. She thought on her words and the words that would be used to respond for an extended pause before she finally took in breath to respond to the seventh year.
"Do you have connections with Professor Slughorn? If you do not, perhaps then you can convince one of your admirers that does to obtain the book you are so seeking?"
