Jynx walked into Flourish and Blotts, pulling her hood off, it was April but it was still a little cold. She shook the rain from her hair and looked around, a bag at her hip, so she could put her books in it. She smiled at the cashier before walking back to the school books.

Alayna wandered over to the section of seventh year books that she needed, happy that she no longer had to take classes she disdained. She glanced at her list (for she had to have a list if she was ever to leave the potions section), and collected her remaining five books. Once again, her Care of Magical Creatures book was the heaviest and most expensive.
After waiting in the dreadful line and paying a total of sixty-five galleons for her books (ten galleons a piece, and an extra five on the C.O.M.C. book), she stowed her new bought literature in her bag and left to go outside to meet her sister Adåla.
