Personality (At least 4 sentences, but longer is preferred): Janet is tough, almost to the point of being abrasive. She doesn't mean it that way, though. It's just that she's had to be tough, essentially having to raise her little boy all on her own. She tends to keep most people at a distance, because she's afraid to rely on anyone.
Her sense of humor is easily her greatest attribute. There may be some people who would find her wisecracks to be off-putting, but most people who know her well have come to understand her sense of humor and know that it masks a warm, intelligent, and sensitive woman that will do anything for her friends, but will not be taken advantage of.
She works too hard and doesn't take a lot of time to have fun. She'll do anything for Cameron, to make sure that he's taken care of. She knows her son better than anyone else, and can often read what's going on in his head, just by looking in his eyes.
History (At least 4 sentences): Born to two muggles in a small town in New Jersey, USA, Janet Wilder was a child prodigy from a very early age. As a child of three, she was so fascinated by her mother's baby grand piano that her mother eventually got her a little mini keyboard to play on. Soon she was. When she was old enough, her parents signed her up for piano lessons. She also learned to play the cello, violin, and acoustic guitar.
She was trying out for the local symphony at age 17 when she met RJ. He was a dancer in a traveling dance troupe, and they had a brief but passionate affair. When they broke up, Janet was hearbroken... and then she found out that she was pregnant. She opted to keep the child and raised Cameron on her own, after her parents refused to support her. She took a small apartment above a deli, and worked in the deli during the day. By the time she gave birth to Cameron, she had made friends with the deli's owner, an elderly widow named Betty. The woman would watch Cameron while Janet was working, and allowed frequent breaks to deal with the fussy baby. It was a difficult living, but Janet kept going and managed to maintain her sense of humor. There were times when the only thing that would calm Cameron down was classical music, sometimes played on Betty's small piano, or on the record player.
By the time Cameron was ready to start muggle school, Betty had died and the deli had been sold to new owners. She left the piano to Janet. Over the years, Janet went through multiple different jobs, including teaching piano to local children and playing piano for a local dancer studio.
When Cameron received his Hogwarts letter, it was quite a surprise, since it was not only a magical school, but it was located in England and they were in America. But she encouraged him to go, believing it was an opportunity that he couldn't pass up. At first she stayed in the States while he went off to England to attend Hogwarts, but when he was in his third year, Janet relocated to England, where she now works as a real estate agent, while also teaching piano to kids and playing the cello in a small community orchestra. She can play the piano, violin, cello, and acoustic guitar.
RP Sample (At least 4 sentences, must be as the character. Pretend it's your first post): I'm crapping out on the history, because I can't keep my eyes open. I may add to it later.
