Personality (At least 4 sentences, but longer is preferred): Theresa is no shrinking violet. It’s a good thing, too, because her condition could bring a lesser woman to her knees. But Theresa refuses to let it get to her. She has good days and bad days, and although the good days currently outweigh the bad, she knows that won’t always be the case. But she’s a fighter, and she won’t take it lying down. She’s going to go down fighting this thing to the bitter end.
Before she became ill, Theresa was always a little bit flighty. Maybe it should have been a warning, because even as a child, she’d forget little things, like where she put her shoes or what date her homework was due. But she never forgot the important things, like people’s names. That didn’t come until much later.
She loves deeply and passionately and adores her husband with everything she’s got. But the fact that they were never able to have children is a secret pain that she keeps buried inside. She wanted a whole house full of children; instead it is just her and her husband.
History (At least 4 sentences): Theresa Joy was the oldest child of three born to David and Constance Winthrop, two wealthy pureblood wizards from two very old families. The family was troubled, however. While Theresa was very healthy, her younger sister Hannah was born blind. And David Jr, the youngest and the only boy, was born with a heart condition. After many expensive treatments, David Jr. was believed to be “cured,” but on his 10th birthday, he fell ill again and died a few weeks later. Theresa wasn’t able to see him before he died.
In school, Theresa was sorted into Gryffindor, where, to her parents’ dismay, she became friends with muggleborns, half-bloods, and other “misfits.” She was a very popular girl, with lots of friends, and boys were always lining up to try and get her attention. When Hannah started school, she was significantly less popular, but Theresa always made a point to spend time and include her blind younger sister. But tragedy struck. Hannah was hit by a car when she was only 12 years old and was killed instantly. This left Theresa as the only child, the hope of the family. She was the one who was supposed to carry on the family bloodline and make a good match.
Therefore, they were none too pleased when she chose a lowly muggleborn from a poor family. They tried to forbid her from seeing him, they tried to arrange a marriage, they tried everything they could think of. But no one told Theresa what to do. She had her mind and heart set on Ben. They disowned her, but really, they were only punishing themselves, as they now had no child to carry on the family.
Ben and Theresa had a happy marriage, but despite many attempts, they remained childless. Theresa has had 2 miscarriages, and after the last one, it seemed unlikely she would ever have a child.
Unfortunately, then Theresa’s memory started to fade…

I'm thinking her parents (or her siblings) called her Terry, so that might fit in somewhere with the memory loss.
