Personality (At least 4 sentences, but longer is preferred): Jax is totally a kid at heart. He’s playful and childish and a little bit mischevious. That’s why he works so well with kids. He considered being a teacher, but he decided later on that he probably wouldn’t be any good. This way, being a healer, he felt like he was actually helping people and doing something with his life.
Jax CAN be serious though, if need be. He’s very professional at his job. He also is only interested in a relationship if it’ll be a committed one. He is very intelligent and likes to read. He can’t handle spare time well and likes to keep busy, so he’ll take extra shifts at St. Mungo’s or call up friends to hang out often.
History (At least 4 sentences): Jax is the only child of Debra and Winston Goldman, two dirt poor muggles who lived on the outskirts of London in a not-so-safe neighborhood. They lived paycheck to paycheck off of Winston’s job as a teacher and Debra’s job as a housecleaner. Even though they were poor, they knew Jax was brilliant, and they were willing to pull every penny together to send him to a private school where he could grow and achieve. But before they had to, Jax received his Hogwarts letter. His parents were thrilled that their little boy was both gifted and brilliant.
At Hogwarts, the Sorting Hat spent a lot of time trying to decide where to put him. He fit in to the category of all four houses:
Gryffindor: for his bravery while growing up, keeping himself safe while living in a bad neighborhood. Also his nobility, always putting others first.
Hufflepuff: His loyalty to his friends and family, never once turning his back on them
Ravenclaw: his brilliance, of course
And Slytherin: he liked to draw attention to himself, and was very capable of getting out of any jam he got himself into.
In the end, the Hat asked him which house he wanted. Jax chose Ravenclaw, because his favorite color was blue.
After he graduated Hogwarts, he immediately went to work as a healer at St. Mungo’s. He was just working here and there, not really deciding on a specific area of study until one day, a kid came in after being bitten by a werewolf. He spent the evening comforting the kid as he did what he could, talking him though everything all the way up to the day he left. His mentor told him he had a gift with kids. So he works in the pediatrics department of St. Mungo’s. He likes it; it’s his chance to be a kid.
One more thing, the first thing he plans to do, when he earns enough money, is to buy his parents the biggest house they can think of. He hates the idea that they still live in that awful neighborhood.
