Lounging

[Rori Logan]

Rori woke up groggly and sort of stumbled down the steps to the Common Room. Her roommate kept on snoring and it woke her up early, so she decided to go down to the Common Room. When she finally made it into the Common Room, after manging to stub her toe on the wall, Rori sat on the couch with her legs stretched out. Before she laid back, she thought about how Landon was completely stupid, and she shook her head at his stupidty. If he couldn't figure it out, that was his problem, but after annoying her ownself for thinking about it, she fell into a light sleep that is until....

[Landon Travis]

Landon stumbled into the common room, rather loudly. He had been out looking for Chloe the night before after curfew, and when he finally gave up searching, he had fallen asleep out by one of the trees on the grounds. He was feeling tired and angry that he hadn't found Chloe. Strangely, he was jumping to conclusions and thinking something had happened to her. He sat down against one of the walls and closed his eyes, not realizing that he wasn't alone.

[Rori Logan]

Rori sat up, grumbling something about not being able to sleep. She looked around and saw Landon sitting up against the wall. "Landon, what it the world are you just coming in for!?" said Rori a little loudly and annoyed. "People are trying to sleep and you should have already been in the Common Room, or rather your dorm! What kept you out?"

[Landon Travis]

Landon quickly looked up as she spoke to him. "Oh, um...it was...nothing." He replied, feeling pretty stupid for having stayed outside all night just because he was looking for Chloe. "I just...wasn't very tired." He lied, quickly. "I didn't mean to wake you up...I didn't know you'd be down here." He added, frowning.

[Rori Logan]

"Yeah, sure, okay," said Rori. "Why don't you just come lay down on the couch and sleep and I'll move to a chair," she said.

[Landon Travis]

Landon shook his head, "No, that's okay. I think I'll be fine. Its my fault for staying out so late, anyways." He said, getting up off of the ground. He slowly walked over to a chair near the couch and looked around for a moment, thinking hard. "Look, um...Rori." He turned to her, again. "I don't really know how to say this, or what to do about it. But I could really use a friend's help." He sighed. "I think I might be in love with Chloe, but I don't know how to tell her or even what to do."

[Rori Logan]

The last few words that Landon spoke kept on running through her head. "Whoa wait what?" said Rori a little confused. "Okay, nevermind, anyway, do you even know her personally? I mean come on Landon. But," she sighed, "if you really like her that much, I'll talk to Remus and see what I can find out, since he knows when she comes or whatever, okay? Unless of course you want to go hunt her down yourself, but I think Remus would be the best way to find out." Rori figured that Landon wouldn't see that she liked him, because he was so caught over Chloe, or whatever in the heck her name was. Rori mentally slapped herself in the head for not just coming out and telling him earlier, but she decided that she wouldn't tell him anything about her little 'crush'. "I'll go talk to Remus first thing whenever breakfast is going on, okay? And you can't just sleep in that chair, you'll be sore in the morning. Lay on the other end of the couch, with your feet towards me."

[Landon Travis]

Landon grinned and gave in, "Alright, fine." He got up and carefully lied down on the couch, resting his head on the armrest. He continued the discussion about Chloe, "Well, I mean...I just have this feeling that I really like her. I don't know why. It sounds stupid, but its just...I don't even know." He sighed. "That'd be great if you could talk to Remus. They seem to be pretty good friends..."

[Rori Logan]

"Yeah, I guess they do," said Rori quietly. Rori grabbed the blanket on the back of the couch and laid it across them. For a few moments it seemed like Rori was lost in thought. "Eh, well, practically everything you say sounds stupid," Rori said giving him a grin and a little laugh. "But like I said, I'll talk to Remus as soon as I can at Breakfast and I'll let you know whenever I can, okay?"

[Landon Travis]

Landon grinned at her comment, "Oh, hardy har-har." He chuckled a bit. "Okay, sounds good. Thanks a bunch." He thanked her, happily smiling. "I still don't know how I managed to fall asleep outside..." He mumbled, trying to figure out why he hadn't just given up and gone inside.

[Rori Logan]

"See, you were tired!" Rori said. "I think you were alot more tired than you thought you were, and come on, tell me, why were you out late? You're never out this late. Don't tell me you went looking for what's her name, because that's just stupid and it seems you're getting a little obsessed," she said seriously. "But whatever, that's you."

[Landon Travis]

"Chloe." Landon quickly corrected her. He sighed again, "Okay, then. Yes, I was out looking for her. And I'll admit, it was pretty stupid on my part. Really stupid, come to think of it... I don't know what I was thinking." He shrugged. "In fact, Rori, do you think you can do me a favor? Whenever I start to get too obsessed or out of hand with this whole thing, can you stop me before I do anything stupid again?"

[Rori Logan]

"Well, I'll see what I can do," Rori said giving him a grin. "Although, I do wish that you'd stop thinking about her so much. You know, it could mess up your grades and whatnot. You never know," she said almost non-audible.

[Landon Travis]

"Eh, maybe. But you just don't like her, do you?" Landon asked, giving her a grin. "Or is there some other reason that you're so disapproving of this whole thing?"

[Rori Logan]

"Well, I don't know her now do I?" said Rori. "I've never even met her, so I can't really judge her, now can I? I don't think you should just obsess over someone you don't even really know, or even really obsess over anyone for that matter."

[Landon Travis]

Landon just frowned and shrugged, not knowing what to say. "I guess so. I didn't really mean for it to seem like an obsession. It was just...really strange..." He said, awkwardly. "I'll just go and talk to her tomorrow and see what she says." He finished, closing his eyes slightly, starting to feel more drowsy now that he was lying down.

[Rori Logan]

"It's alright, some people have that kind of crush some time or another, I suppose," said Rori turning on her side and going off into her own thoughts. "Sleep well then," she said quietly.

[Landon Travis]

"You too." Landon replied, quietly. He thought about Chloe for a few moments, and then about how Rori had sounded annoyed and disapproving of his crush on Chloe. He slowly wandered off to sleep as his thoughts came to an end.
