Isolde was wondering around the castle aimlessly. Her head was pounding but other than that, she was in a good mood. Today was a good day. Not once so far had she freaked out on anyone and the voices that were constantly whispering at her hadn't seemed to be awake or had left. Finally, she thought.
There had been many moments when she had had meltdowns. No one outside of Slytherin had seen them yet and she was really hoping she could keep it that way. After all, she didn't want to be alone forever, no matter how much it seemed like that's what she wanted.
Sighing, she said softly to a suit of armor, "At least no one can hear what goes on inside my head."
There wasn't anything truer than that. Everyone was inside the Great Hall, oblivious to her standing before a suit of armor. There was a moment when she was tempted to go inside but she really wasn't hungry. She never was anymore. So she sat down right where she was and stared, unblinkingly at the suit of armor.
Isolde was wondering how boring it would be to be a suit of armor.

Genevieve was late for dinner. This often happened whenever she wasn’t with Lance and Josh and Eve. She had been in the library, trying to study (which was often a hopeless exercise with her) and had actually managed to leave almost on time. But on the way, she got distracted, first by following a cat that was wandering the halls, and then had got into a conversation with Moaning Myrtle in the girls’ bathroom, and then completely forgot where she was going and went back to the Common Room until she realized that no one else was around.
As she approached the Great Hall, she got distracted yet again; this time by a girl sitting next to a suit of armor, staring at it. She seemed so still that for a moment, Genevieve wasn’t sure whether the girl was actually real or just another sculpture. She’d never noticed it before, but that didn’t mean anything. Slowly, she approached the girl, her head tilted to one side curiously. After a few moments, she was pretty sure the girl was real, which still didn’t explain why she was staring at the suit of armor. Genevieve turned her head to stare at it as well, and didn’t move for a long moment.
