Landon stretched out across the couch in the common room, reading a book about Beginner's Quidditch Tricks and Skill Improvements. It was mildly interesting. Everything looked almost impossible to do. He was eager to start the season though, so he continued reading.

Sabrina walked into the common room and sat down on one of the couches with a sigh. She noticed the boy sitting there, reading, and smiled. "Hi, Landon, right?" she said tiredly. "So how do you like it here so far?"

"Hey Sabrina." Landon replied, sitting up and putting the book on the table in front of the couch. "Its pretty cool here. Lots of fun stuff to do!"

"Cool. I'm glad you like it," Sabrina said. She went through her bag and took out the Dark magic book she'd been reading, making sure to keep the title hidden. "It's starting to get cold out, and I don't know what my sister's going to do. My sister, Natalie, she's not a student here yet. She'll start next year, but since my uncle Alastor is working here all day, there's no where else for her to go. She likes to sit in the trees, but pretty soon it'll be too cold for that. I wish there was something for her to do." She looked at him, realizing she had probably said too much. "Sorry, I guess I was just thinking out loud. I guess I have a lot on my mind."

Lucie strolled into the common room, yawning, she slumped on a chair near Sabrina and Landon ''I - am - so - tired'' She said and kicked her shoes off.
