Time Together (Kole)

[Bianca Clarke]

Bianca got a job at the Ministry, and she thought that would help her spend more time with Kole, one of her closest friends. However, they both worked so much, and in different areas, she barely got to talk to him.

So she set an entire day, or at least a part of it, to spend with Kole, catching up on what they've missed in each other's lives for the few days they hadn't spoken.

Bianca fussed with her hair, not being able to keep part of it down. She liked Kole, and she had for a while, but she wasn't going to let him know in fear that piece of information would ruin their friendship. As she finally got her hair pinned in place, she heard a knock on the door.

"One sec!" She shouted, and smiled at herself in the mirror before getting up, one of the things she does to give herself more confidence.

Kole and Bianca, through letters and post and quick run-into's in the halls at the ministry, finnaly planned a day where they could hang out together. He wished that being an Auror wasn't so busy. But between the normal day-to-day's, plus training his new partner Hestia, he hardly had time to see Kat and Kim, let alone his friends.

So he got dressed in slacks and a tee-shirt and Aparated to the Black Cat apartments after picking up treats from his sisters' bakery and coffee. He walked up to the front door of Bianca's apartment and, having no free hands, knocked on the door with his head.

"Come on Bee! You expect me to wait out here all day!" he laughed good naturedly.

Bianca laughed at his statement as she neared the door.
"It's my place, I can do whatever I want!" She yelled back, and waited a few more seconds before opening the door. She smiled as soon as she saw Kole with the treats and coffee in his arms. She loved his sisters' baked goods, and she was always thrilled when she got to eat them.

Bianca took the coffee from his hands and placed them on the table, helping to lighten his load.
"Wait...did you knock on my door with your head? Have you never stopped doing stupid things? I swear, one of these days you're going to break yourself..." Bianca sighed, and then laughed.
"Now, put the treats down and hug me. We've got tons of catching up to do!" Bianca added.

"What's wrong with knocking on the door with my head?" Kole laughed. "As long as the job gets done right?" He put the coffee and snacks on the table and then jumped toward Bianca, hugging her and lifting her off the ground.

"I missed you I missed you I missed you!" Kole said cheerfully. He placed her down gently and grinned widely.

Bianca screamed as Kole picked her up. She wasn't expecting that, just a small "nice to see you" hug. But with Kole, as well as a lot of her other friends, she learned to expect the unexpected. It was the only way for her to stay sane.

Bianca returned the smile after he put her down, and she regained her sense of balance. That was the reason she hated flying-being up in the air for too long, or too suddenly, made her balance off when she returned to the ground, and that bugged her.
"I missed you too! I can't believe we work in the same building and never see each other! How's life been? Anything interesting to report?"

"Hey, what can I say, the Ministry is hectic, all the time." He stepped in more and took a seat on her coffee table. Oddly enough, Kole rarely sat on chairs. At work, he'd usually sit on his desk, instead of at it, and rarely did a day go by that his sisters weren't shooing him off the counter at the bakery.

"To report?" he asked curiously. "Well, I have a partner now." He said with a shrug. "She's brand new, still training and stuff, she's actually still at Hogwarts," he chuckled. New Aurors were getting younger and younger.

"What about your end? Any gossip?" Kole asked with a smirk.
