Teagan was feeling brave and very,very pleased with herself. She was hungry and she was craving something with sustenance as she had skipped dinner altogether. It really wasn't her fault the teachers seemed to think it was required to load homework on them, now was it?
The reason she felt brave was because it was after dark. It was against the rules to be out after curfew. She had snook stealth-fully through the corridors and had managed not to be caught. Teagan felt pleased that she had made it here. She hadn't been sure if she could do it.
The house elves were all too pleased to serve "Miss" and soon she found herself with a small banquet layed out in front of her. She really didn't think she could eat all of this by herself.

She made her way silently, as if she was one of the many ghosts. She felt like one. Or at least she felt like she was invisible for all the notice her 'roommates' had given her. Sighing, she continued until she was facing picture of fruit bowl. Reaching out with her finger, she tickled the plump pear. Snickering as it giggled, she quickly looked around hoping no one had seen. As the door opened she stepped into the kitchens.

Teagn blinked upon hearing the secret door to the kitchen open up. She tensed herself, ready with a story to try to wor her way out of a detention. She had obviously been expecting a professor or a prefect. Instead, se saw a second year Slytherin girl that she had never seen before. Not that she knew many Slytherins....
Teagan offered a weak, tentative smile and said, "Uhm, hello."

Awww....crap. 'Huh, hello'. Hmmm...she doesn't recognize her. "Sorry, I didn't realize...umm..I didn't mean to interrupt" She looked around hoping to find something she could grab to take with her. Not seeing anything or any of the house elves, she turned to go.

Teagan was lonely and there was entirely too much food spread out before her. She couldn't eat it by herself.
"No, don't go! You can stay. Have something to eat. I don't mind if you don't," she said quickly, a genuine smile on her face now.

She stopped and turned around to small girl. She cocked her head sideways and looked at her. She smiled back and walked to other side of table and sat down. " Thanks. I'm Ursula. Umm..Ursula Evanson. You are?." Passing the smaller girl a plate before she started to fill one for herself.

Teagan smiled, feeling very relieved, before beginning to pile her plate as well. Yes, Ursula Evanson, that was her name. She seemed nice and gave off a bit of an odd air for a Slytherin. She didn't seem evil.
"I'm Teagan Kelly, First year Ravenclaw. What brings you to the kitchens?" she asked curiously.

Wonders why she's being nice to her? A Ravenclaw? Can she trust her? She looks over at her, "I'm Ursula Evanson, 2nd year Slytherin." Ok, well here is were it gets sticky she thinks.
" Hungry. I didn't make it to dinner actually." She looks up at her under her eyelashes. She seems nice, well for a Ravenclaw that is. "Ummm, what brings a first year here already?" Well, that didn't come out like she hoped it would. Sighs, she looks back at her, and gives her a tentative smile.

Teagan blinked. She wondered briefly if she was currently facing a potential enemy or a friend. Ursula Evanson seemed nice but one couldn't be too careful when encountering a Slytherin.
"I also didn't get a chance to eat dinner. I was in the library, working on the load of homework the teachers have seen fit to pile on us. Can't say as I can complain over much, though. I've already finished most of it the afternoon," she said, sounding and feeling very pleased with herself.
