Allison entered the common room for the first time ever she was so excited she couldnt wait. She entered and looked around in awe then she deided to go sit down in one of the seats by the fire.

James, bored and depressed that all of his friends seemed to be too busy to do anything, walked into the common room and plopped down on the couch. He folded his arms and looked around. He set his eyes on a girl sitting in one of the chairs by the fire. "Oh, hello." He said, smiling a little bit as he realized that she seemed to be fairly new.

She smiled back. "Hi..." "Ok Allison just talk its the first person your meeting here lets make a friend." She thought as she was smiling at him Allison loved to make new friends.

James sat up straight and introduced himself, "I'm James Potter. First year here, too. What's your name?" He asked, curiously. Maybe he'd be able to make friends with someone who might actually be around most of the time.

She smiled again. "Allison Johnson Im a first year to nice to meet you." Allison was really excited to be here still she needed to calm down take a breather before she gets to hyper and embarasses herself.

"You too." James replied. She seemed to be really happy about something. "So, um, did you just get here recently, or have I just somehow never noticed you before?" He asked, trying to put it in a way that didn't make him seem to rude or stupid.

She nodded. "Yeah I just got here today. What about you?" She asked and calmed down alot more. She looked at him and thought that he looked kinda cute but she also thought that he would probably never think the same about her.

"Nah, I've been here for a while now. At least almost a years' worth now." James said, shrugging. "My friends are usually around here somewhere, but lately they've all been so busy and I haven't been able to find them anywhere..." He said, explaining his problem.

She nodded and smiled sadly alittle."Aww Im sorry at least you have friends right?" Allison was new and wondered if she will make friends here will she hoped that she would anyways. She thought I hope that came out right.

"I guess so." James shrugged again. He felt a little sorry for her, once he realized that she probably didn't have many friends yet, herself. "If you'd like, I could introduce you to some of my friends later?" He suggested.

"Oh, no." James quickly added. "I never do anything anyways. It'd be a good source for fun and excitement for both of us. I mean, I practically might as well be re-introduced to my own friends again anyways. I haven't seen them in forever..." He chuckled a little bit.

"Well, um, sort of. I know a couple people who can be major pain in the-, well you get it. But just look out for most Slytherins. They tend to be the worst ones around." James replied, sighing. "Everyone else is okay. A lot of people are kinda shy though."

Remus had just come back from being in town with Chloe and David. He was happy that they were going to let him help stop Greyback's attack. When he saw James by the fire talking to a girl, he strolled over casually. "Hey, James!" he said. "Who's your new friend?"

"Hey, Remus! Long time no see....again..." James welcomed him, smiling at the sight of his old friend. He turned back to Allison, and grinned. "This is Remus Lupin, one of my best friends." He told her before turning back to Remus. "And this, Remus, is Allison. She's fairly new here."
