(Because I love Dani. Shush)
Being 11 was frustrating. You couldn't do anything. Not only were you forbidden from doing magic outside of class, but even if you could, first years didn't know any useful spells.
She promised her mother that she would fix her bed by herself or get someone to help her so that Aurelia could go to coffee with Henri- which Danica was dying with curiosity over.
When she went back to her room, it was empty, thankfully, and with slight hesitation, Dani went to her bed and tried to pull it back. It was too heavy, and she let out a puff of air that served as a sigh.
A few minutes later, she was climbing the stairs to the older girls' dorms, pushing the door open lightly. All three of the triplets were there, and Dani looked first at Bobby with wide eyes. She didn't know any of them except for Callie.
Locking her eyes on the girl, she sighed again. "Callie?"

Callie was boredly flipping through a book at that moment. The triplets were all supposed to be studying, but none of them were really working. She was just about to suggest that they all sneak down to the kitchens and grab a snack when she heard a small voice calling her name.
Turning around, Callie recognized the little first year girl that had asked her for help a couple of times. Once she had pushed the girl’s bed away from the window, and another time she had gone up to the owlery for her to mail a letter. “Hey, kiddo,” she said brightly. “What’s up? Need to mail another letter?”

Dani shook her head. "No. My mum actually got me an owl as an early birthday present and we trained her to come to me, so I don't have to worry about the owlry anymore." It was one of the coolest presents she'd ever gotten, in fact, and she decided that her mother was amazing, as if she hadn't known it before.
"Anyway... I need my bed moved again. If you have time." She sort of dropped her eyes to the floor, a little embarassed that she even had to ask. It wasn't like she wanted to be so scared of heights, she just couldn't help it. It also wasn't her fault that 11 year old girls knew how to torture each other in ways that Death Eaters would be proud of.

"Oh, that's cool," Callie said. "You have a really cool mom."
She couldn't quite help the pang of sadness she felt at that. After all, Callie never got to know her mother. As much as she loved her father, she wished sometimes that she could have known what her mother was like.
"Did the mean girls move your bed again?" She said, shaking her head. Callie was not ignorant of the fact that girls could be just as bad--if not worse--than boys. She could only imagine what some of the other girls said about her behind her back. "I'll move it back for you. It's no big deal. And in fact, I just learned a new charm last week... it's supposed to stick objects in place for as long as you want it to stay there. I've been looking forward to trying it out."
She stood up and cast a quick glance at her sisters. "I'll be right back." To Danica, she added, "Lead the way."
