Character Name: Arianna Garland
Year: Fifth
Preferred House (you may not get it, unless you are a canon character): Slytherin
Strengths: Excels at casting curses and hexes. Other than that she really has no direction in life.
Weaknesses: Despite near impeccable dueling skills, Arianna is rather stupid. As a simplistic fool, she is easily angered. Making her very accident-prone. Not to mention the fact that she struggles with the basics of any field not having to do with Dark Arts.
Personality: Arianna enjoys attention; wether someone is being overly kind or severely evil to her doesn't matter. When she's not given attention by whoever she desires it from, Arianna will not hesitate to attack her target. Unfortunately she has a tendacy to go too far in her attempts at attracting people and more often than not drives them away completely. She appears to be arrogant and hardy on the outside, but is very easily scared. So she adopts a dominating personality around softer people, and a submissive mind around more controlling people and darker situations.
Brief History: Arianna grew up in a small home with a large family. She is of the youngest within her family and is quite familiar with being treated unfairly. As a result has no respect for honor or rules. Parents are usually too busy or not in the mood to spend time with her. Siblings are generally the same way.
In school, she struggles with every class. Her teachers probably don't think highly of her, yet that's for them to decide. Regardless, she likely despises them all. Holidays are periods of depression for the usually lonely girl, but that might change.
Description (for made-up characters): Five feet and three inches tall. Very thin. Long, black hair. Brown eyes.
RP Sample (must be at least a paragraph): The potions class was strangely humid and stuffy. Arianna couldn't concentrate on her lessons because of this. Despite the distraction of the terrible discomfort the classroom's climate provided, Arianna drifted off into thought. Life was so unfair. How could they all have such evil and powerful names and Arianna was stuck with a stupid name. She could out-perform all of her dumb sisters in a duel. It was-
Of course, the prospect of leaving potions class could take Arianna's attention away from ranting about how life sucks anytime. It wasn't like that was something she was interested in anyway. She began to leave, having not unpacked anything to work on she didn't have to do any cleaning or packing.
A Ravenclaw boy stood in her way of the door. It wasn't really his fault, his friends were being a bit stupid. They didn't matter though. In an instant, Arianna had drawn her wand and taken aim. The stupid boy was shot throw the door of the classroom. Arianna was only a second behind him with a rather smug look on her face.
