Shopping for School Books (Open)

Zoey walked into Flourish and Blotts with her school book list in her hand. When she walked in she noticed the shop wasn't as crowded as it had been before in her memories. Zoey then realised that of course, term had already started, she was just late as usual.

Zoey never took a good look at her list, so she wondered what she would need and if she could find anything. She didn't really want to make a fuss, but she wanted to look at other books as well. She hoped that she had enough money to buy all the necessary books and maybe she could by another book that she could just read in her spare time. Reading was something that interested Zoey. She could sit and read all day if she was allowed to and didn't have anything to do.

Zoey looked around at all the titles of the books. There were many different books about many different things. She wished she had this as a library at home, it could last her ages and she could read all of the interesting books. Zoey heard the bell ring and looked up to see if anyone she knew walked in. It was just an old lady, no one that would be going to Hogwarts like her. She secretly hoped that she could make a friend before she even goes.

Zoey didn't know why she didn't just go up to the counter and say she wanted a Hogwarts package but instead she got 5 books that were on the list and went up to pay for them.

She decided to get used books that were still in okay condition. She could easily repare them and make them look a bit new. Besides, she wanted money to spend on other things as well. Just because Zoey liked school it didn't mean that she didn't want to spend all of her money on that. She liked to do fun things and buy cool stuff for herself.

Zoey paid for the 5 books and then started looking at all the other books. She didn't see if there were any other books that were on the list and if there were she would order them by owl post. She couldn't really be bothered checking. It were the books in the store that interested her the most at the moment. Some of them were so amazing.

Essie walked into Flourish and Blotts. She walked up to the counter and payed the money for used books. After that, she wandered around, looking at all the other books, searching for a particular book. It was older, and it was used. She remembered her aunt talking about it.
