Anne was sitting cross legged on the cold ground beside the dark, gloomy lake. She wondered if a storm was coming up because the clouds start to gather. She was looking around to see if anyone was watching her. Nope. She has had a very eery feeling that someone has been following her lately. She got up and picked up a small rock and threw it in the water. She loved the sound of the rock landing in the water, and she had no idea why. But it was silent. She didn't hear the thud from the rock in the water. What was going on? , she thought to herself. Maybe she was going deaf. She picked up a larger rock and threw it in the water. No sound. Now she knew her ears were decieving her. She turned around and started to walk away. The clouds started to get angry, and big bolts of lighting started to strike. The sky began to cry, and she still had that feeling. She put her cloak over her head and began to shiver. A cold chill ran through out Anne. She got closer to the castle, and looked behind her. Something popped out of the water. She couldn't identify it. It looked almost like a person! Or some animal! She ran close to the lake. No longer did she feel her body. Her body was numb. It was so very cold, but she felt so warm inside. She knew something mysterious was going on with the Lake. No wonder it was always BLACK. She got closer to the water. It was a person's head. It's red glowing eyes watched her every move. Her heart began to race. She felt very sleepy. It sank deeper and deeper into the black, glum lake. Anne didn't feel anything else. She had fainted.
At last, she heard a voice. It was very soothing. She opened her eyes. It was still raining. She could hear the thunder crash. The rain was still crying, and she felt awful.
"Who-Who are you?" She asked, very wearily. She felt like she was going through hell. Anne felt tears rolling down her face. Or it was rain. But whatever it was, it was very warm. She heard heavy breathing and she didn't know who it was. She couldn't see because of all the water. The thunder crashed again.
"Who are you?" She asked, with more confindence....
