Raven was trying to study for her DADA class, and she had become very annoyed with the noise a group of first years were making in her common room. With a sigh, she headed to the Library, carrying her book, but found that the Library too was crowded with students. "Fine then," Raven said to herself. She headed down the stairs again, knowing that at this time of day there was hardly anyone in the Great hall.
On her way to the great hall though, Raven missed a step, lost her footing and tumbled down half a flight of stairs. She landed on her rear on a level between the second floor and the first and sighed, submitting to just sitting there for a moment and calming down.

"Where are you going, Rob?"
Robin turned and looked at his class mate. "I just have to go. Raven needs me."
The other boy looked at him like he was insane, and Robin shrugged. He couldn't explain it, he just knew that Raven was having a rough day, and that meant he needed to go to her. Most of the time, she never even needed to tell him. He just knew. He wished he was that in tune with his other siblings, but it was just a bond he had with her.
It didn't take him long to find her, and he tilted his head when he saw her, coming up and sitting next to her. "Doing okay?" he asked, as if they both just planned to meet right at that spot and sit for a few moments.

While she sat there, Raven just knew Robin would show up. She couldn't explain it, neither of them could, but Robin knew when Raven needed him, even if she didn't know it for sure. It worked the other way around too.
She looked up from her seat on the stairs and smiled at her brother who had taken a seat beside her. She tilted her head on his shoulder and sighed. "I fell" she said with a small laugh.

Robin smiled at her admission. "I can see that." What he didn't say was that he had known. Maybe not that she fell, exactly, but that she wasn't having a great day. He even walked out on his friends in the common room.
"It'd be easier, sometimes, if we were in the same house, wouldn't it?"
He glanced at her as she rested her head on his shoulder. "You're okay though, right?"
(Sorry it's short)

(I don't mind short)
She chuckled at him. "You're funny," Raven smiled before she sat up.
"Yea, it would have," she said. "At least you have Wren," she said, bringing up thier younger brother. Raven wasn't exactly Wren's superhero, that position was saved for Robin. "How is the little pip-squeek anyway?"
"Yea, I'm okay, their just stairs Rob," she said. "I fall down all the time."

Robin would have bristled at being called Wren's superhero, but he was glad that their brother at least had someone around that he could look up to. He didn't think he was qualified to be that person, but he'd fill the shoes as well as he was able.
"He's doing all right," he shrugged.
"And I know you fall down all the time. Believe me, I know you do. You need to stop that." He smiled and nudged her.

"That's good," Raven said. "You should keep an eye on him, you know," Raven said. She always wanted to watch out for her brothers. Yes, it was more difficult for her because Jay was older and out of school and Robin and Wren are in a different house, but Raven thought she was doing the best she could.
"And the falling down thing? Sure, cause thats something I can control," She didn't know why she was so clumsy, she simply was.
Raven stretched her feet out and knocked her toes together. "So, how've you been?" she asked with a hint of amusement in her voice.

"Oh, be quiet," Robin said, teasing her. "You know I watch out for him as much as I can. Can'te xplain why, but I kind of like the kid."
He laughed at her remark. "We're twins. I can't be the only graceful one, you know. You've got it in you somewhere, I know you do. Besides, the people in the common room are starting to get kind of freaked out when I keep getting up and leaving."
He leaned back on the stairs, stretching his legs out in front of him and crossing them at the ankles. "I'm doing all right. Aside from falling down all the time, how have you been?"

"Good think you kinda like him, 'cause I'm pretty sure he doesn't kinda like me," Actually, Raven knew Wren didn't like his only sister all that much.
"Just tell your friends its the twin telepathy, it'll freak them out enough so that they won't ask questions," Raven laughed at their little talent that the two of them shared. They couldn't really explain how, but when one needed the other, they just knew.
"Rather annoyed because I can't find a quiet place to study," she gestured to the books spread out around them. "but other than that and the falling down, I guess I'm alright. How about you?"

"Wren's a... he's a character. He doesn't not like you, I think he's just going through a weird phase or something."
Robin wouldn't question why Wren seemed to like him... he was okay with it. At least their younger brother had someone he could relate to, and on some level, Robin understood this need completely. So whatever it was that Wren saw in him, he hoped he never lost it.
"I'm all right, other than being annoyed because you're annoyed," Robin told her with a little grin. Because of the "twin telepathy," they were often well aware of each other's moods, too.
"But come on, I can probably sneak you into the Hufflepuff common room. It's quiet in there, and I could help you study."

"Well I apologize for my annoyed-ness," Raven said with a laugh. "I never intentnally mean to mess with your emotions," she knew it was like-wise. They just couldn't help their "telepathy". Sometimes, like when one of them (usually Raven) was over emotional, the other would be as well, and that wasn't so great sometimes. Or, like right now, if one of them was hurt or in trouble, the other would know and get to them quick, which was very good. Ah the pros and cons of twindom.
Raven finally stood up and picked up her books, putting them safely in her bag and brushing dust and dirt off her skirt, before offering Robin a hand. "The Hufflepuff common-room? sure, why not," she said, worth a try wasn't it? Raven hated that she and Robin were in seperate houses. she missed him sometimes.
"Have you heard from Jay at all?" She asked about their older brother as the two headed toward Robin's common room.

Robin smiled, nudging her slightly. It usually went like this, where he was the one who felt her emotions, but it went the other way, too. They were just lucky they weren't both girls, or they would spend all of the time in moody huddles in the corners of their rooms.
He pulled up to get to his feet as well while she put her books in her bag, and then shoved his hands deep in his pockets as they started walking towards his common room.
"No... not recently. You?" he replied, asking about their brother.

Sometimes Raven felt bad for her twin. Being the girl, she was always the more emotional one, and therefore, Robin got a lot of what she was feeling.
But being the dear brother he was, he never complained about it. He just came to her aid at the bottom of the stairs. Raven grinned when he helped her up and they headed toward the Hufflepuff common room.
Her brothers had all been in Hufflepuff, he couldnt understand why the sorting hat had wanted to seperate the two of them, in Raven's opinion, it wasn't fair.
"Nope, not in a while, I was just curious," Raven said. "Sure your housemates won't mind me showing up?"
