OK, here's how the school terms will work. I've decided not to use full-length school terms, because it just takes too long. I've also decided not to use a simple post-count level, because not everyone posts as often as others, and it could result in James graduating, while Sirius is only a third year, for example. I'd like to keep the grade levels even.
So here's what we're going to do: Each term will last 16 weeks. That's basically half of a regular school year. There will be a two week break in the middle, which will be "Christmas" break. During that time, RP will continue, but no classes, and you can choose to have your character stay at school, go home, or go on Holiday.
Each class will be posted on its designated day of the week and continue until the next class is scheduled to begin. There will be 14 lessons for each class. The schedule is as follows:
Monday
Charms
Arithmancy
Tuesday
History of Magic
Care of Magical Creatures
Potions
Wednesday
Transfiguration
Ancient Runes
Thursday
Defense Against the Dark Arts
Astronomy
Divination
Friday
Herbology
Muggle Studies
If you miss the beginning of the class, just pretend you were already there and take part in the lesson. The lesson will end, if it hasn't already, when the next lesson is posted. The Professor will close the thread.
Remember that first and second years must take all of the required courses.
