Kole found himself spinning in his chair at his desk, not having anything to do besides boring paperwork. they never mention paperwork as part of the job description when you sign up for this. He wanted to be on a mission, or training or...His stomach growled. Or eating....
Kole reached into the desk and grabbed a cookie that he got from his sister's that morning and took a bite before getting up. Maybe he'd go see if Constantine had anything going on before he was bored to tears.
"Hey," Kole said when he found Constantine. "What'cha doing?"

Constantine was trying to concentrate on what was in front of him but it just wasn't working at the moment. His mind was elsewhere. He was wondering how his little sister was doing since he hadn't seen her in awhile. As long as she was keeping out of too much trouble, it was alright.
He looked through his desk and started to organize things before he set back to a little more paperwork.
Hearing Kole come up was a welcome relief. "Hey Kole," he said looking up. "Just attempting to get a few things done. How about you?"

"I'm bored," Kole said honestly, a laugh in his voice. "I hate paperwork, I'd love to be useful for once," he said. Kole leaned against Constantine's desk and crossed his arms. "I've seriously been spinning in my chair and eating cookies that my sister gave me this morning all day." he looked at Constantine's desk. "Anything interesting over here?" He asked hopefully.

A quiet laugh came from Constantine as he could see Kole spinning in his chair. "Spinning and eating huh? That sounds a lot more interesting than this." He sighed. Putting his quill down, Constantine crossed his arms as he leaned back in his chair. "I haven't been able to really concentrate this morning, so I believe you are being useful right now. You have saved me from just putting my head on my desk and going to sleep."

"Nothing wrong with sleeping on the job..." Kole laughed, only half joking. "Yea, spinning and eating, though I learned that doing them at the same time is not the smartest thing i've done," he smiled, placing his hand on his stomach. "Hold on," Kole said and he went to his desk, quickly returning with the tupperware box of cookies that was half empty. "You eat these so I don't," he said, placing the box on Constantine's desk.

He couldn't help but shake his head at Kole. The man's antics so far seemed to be somewhat amusing. "I could image spinning and eating wouldn't be a good mix together," Constantine replied with a light smile.
His eyebrows rose a little as Kole disappeared to his desk, only to return a few seconds later with a Tupperware box. "Cookies," he asked with his eyes resting on the box. "Thanks Kole. I'll just stick them in my desk for right now. I'll bring the box back to you tomorrow." Leaning back in his chair slightly, Constantine sighed. "So Kole, what do you think about going to lunch a little early, or are you too full from cookies?"

"Any time," Kole said. Kat normally didn't care all to much when the box came back, as long as she could fill it up for her little brother again and often.
"I guess I could eat," Kole said. That was an understatement, he could always eat. "Not like anything here will miss us for the time being." He looked around to the unusually boring office. "Where did you have in mind?"

Constantine laughed. "That's true. I just need to finish what's in front of me before I leave this evening, but taking a little break wouldn't hurt." He looked around. Everyone else seemed to be doing their own thing and then he turned his attention back to Kole.
"I was thinking about that little romantic restaurant that is a couple of blocks from here. From what I've heard they have the dimmed lights and everything else." He laughed so that Kole would only know that he was kidding. That was a huge difference between Constantine and Cassius. Constantine didn't mind cracking a joke or kid around every once in a while.
"There's a sandwich shop that's pretty good. Dunno if you've been there or not, but that's where I go at least once a week."

"Aw sweetie, I thought you'd never ask," Kole joked back, but he couldn't kkep a straight face and started to laugh, quietly so as to not disturb the people who worked around Constantine's desk.
"Sounds good," Kole said when he mentioned the sandwitch place. "Like I said, I could eat, lets go." Now kole was eager to just get out of the office, suddenly feeling almost claustrophobic in this place. Probably not a good sign since he was hoping to make a career there...

He started to laugh along with Kole. Putting his quill down, Constantine stood up and grabbed his cloak. "Let's go. I'm starving right now. Those cookies are going to be dessert whenever we get back I think. They smell amazing. I'm sure that my desk drawer is going to be left smelling like them."
Constantine never received any kind of sweets like that unless he made them himself or he bought some, which both of those were very rare. "You look like you could eat. You're as skinny as a bean pole," he said jokingly.

"I'll tell Kat you like them, maybe she'll bring you your own batch," Kole said. It was true that his sister's (yes, he'll admit, even Kim) were exceptional bakers. He had a feeling that their business would go very far.
"Thanks mom," Kole said with a laugh. "Lucky high motabolism." He said. "Which is good, sence I eat at my sisters' bakery probably everyday." Kole couldn't help he had a sweet tooth.

Constantine had never been one that ate a lot of sweets, but he knew he would eat a few of the cookies, especially if Kole had his sister make them. He couldn't just tell him that no, he didn't want the cookies. "Sounds good," he said with a smile.
He let out a laugh at Kole's remark. "We wouldn't want you to get too terrible big, so I suppose it is a good thing that you have a high metabolism." Constantine felt more relaxed than he had been. His mind usually was on his 'family' back home, but it was nice to finally have some kind of distraction.

"Yea, that's just what this department needs, a chubby auror trying to chase down the bad guys, one cookie at a time," Kole chuckled. The Auror department was for those in top ntch shape, and with his sister's working in a bakery, he made a point to visit the gym as often as possible.
"Come on, lets go before someone tries to pile on another stack of work for us to do," Kole said. He led the way to the lifts to leave the department. "Where're we going? Sandwhich shop, right?"
