OOC: For one person only... when more than that join it gets... bad.
Boone glanced back up at the lake, a small frown on his face. So far, he had done three things today. Wake up. Leave the Common Room. And sit against this tree. Not big accomplishments by anyone's standards, but Boone wasn't big on saving the world.
He watched a first year begin to run towards the castle, trip suddenly, so suddenly it was as if... Boone looked at his hand and saw his wand, and grinned. "My bad..." he muttered. "He was asking for it, anyways... Tripping curses are so much fun."

Rori walked by the lake, like she always did, practically everyday, and she was looking for Landon, but she saw someone else instead, a fellow Ravenclaw. She walked up beside him, "Hey Boone," said Rori.

Boone glanced, and was suddenly ready to head back to the castle. His frown grew, and he ignored her, staring intently at the first year who was attempting to figure out how in the world he had tripped.

Rori glanced over at Boone and noticed he was ingoring her. She just shrugged and walked over to the tree and sat down against it. Rori didn't say anything to Boone, she just stared out at the lake, watching Herbert swim around.

Boone frowned, and said, "Who the hell is that? Swimming?" He had an incredible urge to use a curse on him, as though some invisible force was telling him Trust me, he deserves it. As soon as you hear his name, you'll wanna curse him.

"That's the Giant Squid, Herbert," replied Rori simply. Boone seemed just a little more strange than what he used to be. Rori just shrugged it off and raised an eyebrow at him.

Boone rolled his eyes. "So the Giant Squid is named Herbert. Lovely. There are millions of different names to choose from, but people pick Herbert..." Strange.

OOC: Yes, Herbert. I like the name so  Rori looked sideways at Boone. "Have a problem with the name Herbert Boone? I happen to like the name, and I chose to name him Herbert. Not many things are named that, so I named him. You can name him whatever you like, I don't care," said Rori. "And don't look at me like I'm some strange person." |
