Rori finally got down to the lake after a walk that seemed to take her forever to get to. She leaned against the tree and watched Herbert swim around. Anonimus' death just didn't seem real, but she knew all to well it was.
It seemed like Rori came to the lake all the time whenever she had problems. Whether it was confusion or boredom, she came to the lake. She sat down with her back against the tree, facing the forest. All of a sudden, Rori felt a twinge of hate for Voldemort. She never hated anybody, but now she hated him. But not just for Anonimus' death, but causing her family problems. Everything seemed to pile up. Rori was supposed to be the strong one, not the weak link. She wasn't supposed to cry in public, she was supposed to be the one that always cheered people up, but now, she couldn't smile or laugh or anything. It seemed like a part of her was missing. Rori didn't really think of Anonimus as her boyfriend, but as a best friend more than anything.
Rori just sat there staring at the forest, not moving. She heard her stomach growling, but ignored it. She wasn't hungry, so why bother? Memories started to form in her head and she started to cry again. All the hate and sadness coming out in her tears.

Natalie was sitting up in the tree when Rori came up and sat down under the tree. Natalie watched her quietly for a while, and her sadness was so powerful it seemed to hang in the air like a thick raincloud. She could feel it as a powerful ache in her stomach that nearly caused her to double over. It wasn't a surprise when Rori started to cry. Natalie took a deep breath and climbed down out of the tree. She stood in front of Rori and asked softly, "Can I do anything to help?"

Rori looked up and shook her head. "There's nothing to do," she whispered. Rori just sat there, still crying.

Natalie sat down next to Rori. "It seems like everybody's sad these days. Lots of bad things are happening." She said it matter-of-factly, but there was a tinge of sorrow in her voice. "I can either ask you what's wrong, or I could touch your hand and see for myself. But your sadness is so strong, it makes me ache. Please let me help."

Rori just handed Natalie her hand without a word. Currently Rori didn't really want to talk about it, seeing as she didn't want to cry anymore and she feared that if she did tell Natalie all about it, she'd cry again.

Natalie took her hand and saw a series of visions--Rori talking to a boy, laughing with him, and kissing him. hen she saw the same boy running from the scary red-eyed man she'd seen in other visions. Then when the man caught up with the boy, he said some words and, with a flash of green light, the boy fell over dead. She also saw Rori's nightmare again, the one she'd had before by this very tree. Natalie let go of Rori's hand, then closed her eyes for a moment, trying to channel the boy she'd seen in the vision. After a moment, she sighed and opened her eyes again. "He didn't feel any pain," she said softly. "His last thoughts were of you."

Rori nodded. "Thanks Natalie for telling me," she said hugging her. "Thank you," she said again quietly. Rori looked out at the forest and felt anger again. "Something needs to happen to him. He needs to have something bad to him, something so horrible that it leaves him weak if not killing him," said Rori with anger. "He causes to much pain and grieve for everyone."

Natalie nodded. "I have this dream sometimes about him. I don't know if it's real, but in the dream, I see Lord Voldemort. He breaks into this house, and there's a couple living there with a baby. He kills the father and goes after the baby. But the mother stands in the way, protecting the baby. He kills her, too, and then goes for the baby. But when he tries to kill him, the spell bounces back. The baby lives, and Lord Voldemort is--not dead, but not alive. Not powerful anymore. I don't know who the people I see in the dream are, or if it's really supposed to happen. But I used to have the dream all the time, before I started taking Severus's potion so I could sleep."

Rori frowned. "I feel sorry for the boy," she said shaking her head. "Plus too, I'm going to like this boy, I have a feeling."

"I sometimes have other dreams about a boy who stops Voldemort over and over again as he gains his power back. I'm not sure, but I think it might be the same boy," Natalie said. "I think in the end, the boy will defeat him completely. But I still don't know what the dreams mean, or if they're destined to come true. It feels very far away. If it is going to happen, I don't think the boy has been born yet."

Rori nodded. "For our side's sake let's hope it will come true. If it does, I know the boy will have hard times because of Voldemort, because that's just how Voldemort is, but if I'm still here whenever the boy is born and if he comes to Hogwarts, I'm going to try and help if, if I can."

Natalie smiled slightly. "Me too. I'm sure that he would need a lot of help from people. I almost feel like I identify with him, because he'd have such a weight on him, and so do I. It's hard to see what's happening to people and to feel what they are feeling. But he would have to have even more pressure... to have to be the one who would defeat Voldemort..."

"I would really hate that job," said Rori shaking her head. "Did you hear that there is going to be a new professor next year? I don't remember what she's gonna teach."

"I can't wait to start school next year. I'm so bored. I have nothing to do all day, and it makes me have more visions," Natalie said. "Listen, if it makes you feel any better, I don't think your adopted parents are going to die anytime soon. When I touch them, I see them growing old together. They're going to be together a long time, and they're going to be very happy." She wisely left out the part about their baby being kidnapped by Voldemort. She didn't think that would make Rori feel any better.

Rori hugged Natalie. "Thanks Natalie. I wonder where Voltaire is? I haven't seen him in a while, well, actually since we got back from my aunt's house at Christmas."

"I'm sure he's around somewhere," Natalie said. "But I don't know where. I can't tell where someone is with my powers. Sometimes I wish I could. You know that my uncle left on some secret mission and wouldn't even tell me and Sabrina where he was going and when he'd be back?"

Voltaire had checked in the room of requirement, the kitchen the dorms the common rooms and even in his office, he didn't want to think that Rori was outside of the castle but he found himself trudging around the lake looking for his cousin. "RORI!" he called out hoping she heard him and called back.

"I didn't know that. The reason why he probably didn't tell you is, one the line of work required secrecy. So don't worry to much," said Rori. Rori heard Voltaire calling for her. She looked around the tree and saw him looking around for her. "Voltaire," called out Rori.

"Yeah, you're probably right," Natalie said. But she wasn't sure. Something still didn't feel right about it. When she heard Voltaire calling out Rori's name, she stood up. "Well, I guess you and your cousin want to talk alone now," she said. "I'm going to go and find Sabrina. Bye, Rori." She began to walk slowly toward the castle.

Voltaire heard Rori's call and began to jog towards where he heard her. He really didn't like the fact she was outside alone. He realized that it would be hard for her coping with the loss of someone she liked ,he didn't want to think of her falling in love, dying. when he finally came upon her he huffed and said "I think...Maybe you need a different place to hang out." he panted a little and thought 'I must be really out of shape!' .
