Relaxing

[Rori Logan]

Rori walked out by the lake. It had started to snow. She was glad that today was her last day of school, and that meant Christmas Break started tomorrow! In a couple of days, she would be going on a family vacation, and she was glad about that. Rori wrapped her cloak and scarf a little tighter around her. She climbed the tree, and there was just a slight bit of ice at the top, and she slipped and fell, but luckly for her, she landed on her feet gracefully, for once. Rori laughed at her own klutzlyness. She walked over a little closer to the lake and saw Herbert, the giant squid swim around. Behind her she heard the cruncing of snow, and turned around to see..............

Aaron, who was walking up to the lake, feeling slightly mad that all of his friends had left for the Christmas break. And he hadn't seen Andrea in a while, so he had no idea what she was up to. He smiled slightly at Rori, and looked out at the lake. "The giant squid might very well be my only friend still at school..." He grinned. "I'm Aaron."

[Rori Logan]

Rori laughed. "I'm Rori. I named the gaint squid Herbert. I dunno where that name came from, but it's the one I came up with," she said shrugging. "Ah, you'll have more friends here than you think you will."

[aaron]

"Oh, no. Its not that. I've got some friends, but they all left for the holidays to go home to their families. Unfortunately, my parents aren't that friendly, so I'd just rather stay here. And my sister might be around here somewhere. She's a bit bossy, so I usually don't see her much." Aaron replied, shrugging. "And...wait a second...you named the giant squid Herbert? What makes you think its male?" He grinned.

[Rori Logan]

"Ah parents. My old parents, well, lets say my father was really cool, but my mom was like a devil. My new parents how ever are really cool. My dad is my cousin, and his wife is my mom." said Rori looking out at the lake. "I'm going to be leaving in a few days myself to go on a family vacation, which I'm excited about. I won't be gone to long. I may come back before Voltaire and Isabella return. There's a few Ravenclaws around that are great to talk too, and a Slytherin boy, but he's shy around new people, and there's several other hufflepuffs around too." Rori laughed about his comment about the squid. "I dunno. I just liked the name Herbert, and if it's a female, I'm sorry."

Aaron laughed, "That's cool. I didn't know Mrs. Rothschild was even married already, let alone to Professor Skipit. And thanks for the advice, I'll look into meeting them. Have you met someone named Andrea recently, by any chance? She's my sister and she's kinda new here. I know she doesn't have many friends so it'd be cool if maybe you could meet her or just help her find some friends...you seem like the right kind of person to do it and she'd never allow me to help her with that stuff." He suggested, smiling.

Rori laughed. "At first I never thought Isabella would even have a boyfriend, but I saw how much my cousin liked her, and helped out just a little bit. But anyway, no I haven't met Andrea. I probably will sometime soon though." said Rori shrugging.

[aaron]

Aaron nodded and paused for a moment. Then he spoke up again, "You're in Ravenclaw, right? I saw you playing in the quidditch game over the weekend. What year are you in?" He asked, curiously, looking at her.

[Rori Logan]

"Yeah, I'm a Second Year Ravenclaw," said Rori nodding. "What about you? I know you're in Hufflepuff, but what year?"

[aaron]

"Only second? You played really well last game for a second year." Aaron replied, complimenting her. "Me? I'm a sixth year. In the boring and frustrating days of N.E.W.T's." He sighed, shaking his head.

[Rori Logan]

"Ah. Something I'm not going to like really well. I'm glad I have a few more years before O.W.Ls," said Rori laughing. "Thanks. My dad taught me how to play quidditch a while back. Although he was a muggle, he was an awesome coach."

[aaron]

"He must've played well, then." Aaron smiled. "But I'm looking forward to playing your team. You guys looked good last week, despite all the injuries and delays of game." He chuckled.

[Rori Logan]

Rori laughed a little. "Yeah. The game against Hufflepuff is going to be fun. Hopefully we won't have an injuries this time."

[aaron]

Aaron chuckled a little bit and then there was complete silence. Remembering that he had been looking for Andrea before he had run into Rori, he decided to continue his search. "Well, I had better go find Andrea. Who knows what she could be doing? And if she gets hurt, my parents are gonna kill me. So I'll talk to you later, I guess." He said, smiling at Rori a little bit.

[Rori Logan]

Rori nodded. "Alright. See you around."

Aaron waved at her, turned, and walked off to go find his sister. She was most likely doing something to get herself or someone else in trouble, so he figured he could just sit back and that it wouldn't be too long before there would be a report about some random fire or someone being being hexed to transform into a chicken. That would be the kind of thing Andrea would do.
