Dexter was walking down the hall way after dealing with the latest murder, even if no one else saw it that way yet. He had his bag slung over his shoulder and put his thumbs under the strap as he watched everyone looking at him through their windows. He wondered why people were so gullible as he gave them all the slight smile and nod. 'Idiots' he thought to himself as he smiled at the healer walking by him.
Dexter wondered if he would ever meet someone who could actually see him like he could see others. He knew if he ever did they would run screaming, there was nothing inside. Not anything normal people felt and understood. Maybe thats why he loved his job so much, when people were dead you don't have to deal with all the stupid formalities. At least dead people understood that sometimes it's time to just be quiet and work. He smiled at one last healer as he rounded the corner and finally he saw something different.
He always thought people were all the same but this one was giving off something different, she was hiding something to, but what? He walked over immediately and looked at her his head tilted. "I'm Dexter," he said leaning against the wall near her and pulling at the strap of his bag.

Ariana was snooping, as was her duty as a death eater. She was looking for medical records specifically. They would give valuable information to her lord about certain aurors and their weaknesses. Now, this is what she was trying to do without making it look like that's what she was doing. She was just getting to last names that started with "F" when someone started talking to her. "I'm Dexter."
Ariana turned slowly, trying really hard not look murderous, which was hard. Because usually no one could sneak up on her. She was the sneaky one and she was the one that snuck up on people. So why was someone sneaking up on her? And making introductions? Was she losing her touch or her mind? But, instead of killing him, she just snapped.
"Can I help you?" She smiled slowly, pretty sure that the smile was so sweet, it was scary.

Dexter looked down at the files she was looking at and saw that she was in the F section of some old medical files. Making a mental note of this behavior he watched the reel of emotion on her face. The inflection of fear, this only confirmed that she was hiding something to him. Then quickly to anger which only made him smile. He loved to play with the normal people. Then to a totally fake smile and a normal response. He thought about the question, could she help him? It was the question he had actually asked himself. Not that he minded being empty inside but sometimes he wondered what real life was like.
He looked intently at her face with a slight sneer. He wasn't sure what she was hiding so he didn't know if he should let her know he knew she was lying. "You might be able to," he said smiling to himself. "I was just looking for an old file," he flashed a sweet grin and looked at the files she was handling.

Ariana shifted her weight slightly so that she edged away from him. Any other time, she probably could've flirted her way out of this, but something about Dexter made her think he wouldn't fall for it. But people often under estimated her. She smiled even sweeter (if that was possible) and stuffed the file she had found back into the cabinet, making sure to hide the name. She had found what she needed anyway.
"Well, they're all yours. I'm done here." She said shortly and slamming the file cabinet shut, making an obnoxiously loud bang in the very creepy quiet room they were in. "Goodbye Dexter." She whispered without an trace of the smile she once had and turned to walk away.
