"But the sad thing is, the guy was my brother, from my real mother." she said hanging her head in shame. "I felt horrible, but of course all you can do is move on." said Chloe. Zander took a breath. "I know... I sometimes have trouble with my temper. I did even before I was bitten. Now it's worse than ever. That's why I have to control the wolf... I'm afraid of what it'll do." He calmed down a little. "Really? Corrigan was attacked by a vampire? He wasn't bitten, was he? I was kind of hoping he could give me a job tending bar at the Hog's Head. I probably should get up there, too, actually, just to make sure I don't have any serious injuries from my fight with Greyback."

Um, from what I heard at the Hot Panini, he's sort of knocked out, but his girlfriend, or whatever she is, is up there, so maybe she can help you, if he's not able to," said Chloe. "I dunno who the Vampire was that attacked him, but he almost killed him."

Zander stood up, then almost fell back over again. "Yeah," he grunted, "I think I hurt my leg. I'm not sure if Greyback did it, or if I did it with all the jumping around I did." He winced in pain. "Yeah, maybe I'll try talking to her. If the vampire who attacked Corrigan isn't Jake, though, I don't want to get involved. The last thing we need is a war between werewolves and vampires. I think those of use who are against Voldemort should stick together."
