Katheryn brought some new pastries out to display. The entire small shop smelled like cookies and baked goods. She never got tired of the smell. She liked to work out in the front room a lot of the time because it interested customers and it made the shop smell so much better. She smiled as her sister walked in. "Hey darling." She said as she made more brownies.

Kimberley smiled at her sister before glancing towards the food her sister had already made. She fought back the urge to take some when her sister wasn't looking. "Morning." She said, adding a yawn at the end. It wasn't that early, but Kimeberley was tired, even though she slept so late.
She took another glance at some muffins and looked back to Katheryn. "Why did I get into this business if I have a sweet tooth?" She asked, smiling.

((I just realized whoever made our siggy spelled kims name wrong )) Katheryn smiled at her sister. Kimberley always had a sweet tooth. She'd been slapped on the wrist with a wooden spoon by Kat and their mother numerous times. She thought it was amusing that she and Kole shared that trait, although she wouldn't announce it. Saying that Kole and Kimberley were alike in any way was dangerous territory. "Well, that's why you have me around." Katheryn said with a wink. "I keep you from eating the whole store."

((Really? Oh, well, it still looks nice!))
Kimberley smiled. "Thank you for that. I'd hate to get fat so early in my life." She said with a laugh. She looked around the bakery, a bit disappointed. "There's hardly anyone here. How can I look at all the attractive wizards if no one comes in?" She said, sliding up on the counter to sit. Her sister would probably yell at her for it, but Kim didn't mind. It wouldn't be the first time she was yelled at by Katheryn.

((lol. yeah, it does!))
Katheryn rolled her eyes at her sister. She was only concerned with men. She stood in front of her and raised an eyebrow. "Well, now you can get to work making pastries instead of staring at 'attractive wizards' and you can't do that from sittin' on the counter we cook stuff on. Move you bum." She said, smacking Kim's legs playfully. She smirked and went to stir the brownie mix.

Kimberley sighed as she slid off the counter, grabbing a bowl to mix some dough. Sure, she could do that with magic, but she always liked baking without it. She liked the way the dough felt as she pressed it down, it was one of those things she liked without really having a reason. "Just once I'd like to meet a guy, one that's actually nice and won't mind being around me. The other boyfriends I've had have always had something to complain to me about me. Right to my face, can you believe it?" Kimbereley laughed a bit at the end.

Katheryn laughed. She knew her sister hadn't had too much luck with guys. Not like Kat was doing any better, considering the dry spell she'd been in. It'd been much too long since she'd had a boyfriend or anything. But that was mostly because she was too into her shop to do anything about it.
"Well, maybe you should find better guys instead of falling head over heels for any guy who gives you a compliment." She teased and winked at her.

As if on cue, the bell above the door chimed, and August walked into the bakery. He was on his way to work (he loved being able to set his schedule, more or less, as a freelance employee).
He paused, realizing her was the only one inside, but he only let that stop him for a brief moment. Twins. Twins were always fun.
"Hello ladies," he said politely. "I may be reaching here, but you wouldn't happen to have bagels or muffins, or anything breakfast related, would you?"

Kim was about to say something back to her sister when the bell rang, alerting them of a customer. She snapped her head around, expecting to see the usual crowd of old ladies come in who were always rude too early in the morning. Instead, she saw a handsome guy walk through. She gave a quick smile to her sister, pushing her out of the way so she could talk to him.
"Uhm, well, my sister here was just about to go make some things for breakfast, if you wouldn't mind waiting a minute. They should be done soon." Kim replied, smiling sweetly at him. "I hope it won't make you late."

August couldn't help but smile a bit when he saw one of the women sort of nudge the other one out of the way. There was some part of him that let this stroke his ego, and he shrugged easily. "Well, I've got to get to work in twenty minutes... will you have anything ready before then?"
He flashed her a charming smile, and let his eyes flick to Katheryn before returning to the other twin, neither of whom he knew by name. But hey, twins were hot.
"What've you got in the oven?" he asked playfully, leaning against the counter in a casual manner.

Kim nodded in response to his first question. "I think we should," She said, and looked back as Katheryn went to the back to check on the muffins they had put in earlier.
Kim laughed at his second question, leaning against the wall behind her. "Wouldn't you like to know?" It was a stupid response, but the only one she could think of when she was so tired. "So, what is it that you do?" She asked, trying to start a conversation with whatever time they had before the muffin was ready and he had to leave. "Wait, nevermind that, I don't even know your name." She said, laughing to herself.
