Maxi had found the largest bag of chocolate she could find in Honeydukes. She was probably going to look like a fatty, bringing this up to the counter, but that didn't bother her. The bag was for Seth. She knew that, despite his relationship with Lyle, Seth was having trouble with his father's death. Maxi's dad had always told her that if she was troubled, a little chocolate helped.
Obviousy, she missed the "little" part of her father;s speech, because she was now currently trying to drag the extreme bag of chocolate to the counter, but with no effect.
"Excuse me," she said to another student passing. "Do you mind..." she gestured to the bag at her side. "...helping me?"

Audrey looked at Maxi as she tried to drag the bag of chocolate up and raised an eyebrow with a chuckle. "Are you having a bad day or something?" She joked but decided to help her anyways. She grabbed one side of it and lifted so the could both carry it. "Holy crap, what did you get? The whole store?" She teased as she noticed the weigh of the large bag.

"Just the largest bag I could find," Maxi said. The girl who helped her was in her house, two years younger. Her name was Audrey. Maxi was familiar with her older brother and cousin. "Thanks," Maxi smiled as Audrey helped her.
"It's not for me, it's for my boyfriend," Maxi said. "He's havinging...a bad couple of days, I guess. I thought this would cheer him up." she smiled.

Audrey smiled at her. "Well, chocolate helps me through tough times. I gained probably ten pounds after my aunt died." She said, trying to make a joke of it. That's how she dealt with death and other depressing things. Chocolate and laughter.
"You're Maxi right? Well, I hope your boyfriend feels better with...whatever he's going through. You seem like you really care." She said, not sure what else to say about it. Things like that made her feel awkward.

Maxi smiled at her. "Thanks." She said. "Yea, Seth will be fine, I just like to help when I can," she smiled. They walked for a little while, but the bag was heavy, and even with the two of them, it was still a lot to lug around.
"Want a break?" Maxi asked. She wished she knew a charm that would make it lighter, but nothing came to mind. They moved to the side and placed the bag on the ground. Seth better eat ALL that chocolate Maxi thought. She looked at Audrey. "So what were you doing in Hogsmeade?" She asked.
