Character Name: Winnie Williams
Age: 36
Description or Celebrity Claim: Melissa McCarthy
Profession: Head chef at the Burke residence
Strengths: (at least 5)
Weaknesses: (at least 5)
Personality: Spending too much time with Winnie can be exhausting. She's giddy and excitable and often gets herself into trouble with her big mouth. She loves to cook and clean, and has a very warm and nurturing way about her most of the time. But when she's in one of her excited moods, she's like a whirlwind, and anyone left standing in the way will be toppled over by her boundless energy. When she is like this, she becomes very clumsy, and has destroyed a lot of China in her time. It's a lucky thing her cooking is so good.
She loves to listen, but she loves talking more, and once she gets started, it's hard to get her to stop! Working in the kitchen, she doesn't see the members of the family unless they come into the kitchen for a snack--which they often do. It's not uncommon for them to turn to her to unload their problems and ask for advice. Winnie then reports the intimate details to other staff members and to her friends Mary, the Burkes' head maid, and Elisabeth, who works at the Scotts residence.
When it comes to work, she likes things just so, and she can be a bit tyrannical. The house elves who work under her are not incredibly fond of her most of the time, although when they are overworked, she treats them with kindness and compassion that the Burkes never would.
History: Winifred Williams was born in a small town the Northern part of England. Her parents were both muggleborns, but they were fairly well off. Her early childhood was comfortable and happy, and she wanted for nothing. Her mother taught her to cook and bake, while her father taught her reading and writing. This happy childhood helped contribute to her relentlessly sunny attitude. By the time she received her Hogwarts letter, Winnie was convinced that the world was all happy sunshine and rainbows.
Of course, that meant she was headed for a fall. Her father was killed in a freak accident when Winnie was 14. She went through a fit of depression that worsened when her mother, previously an unemployed housewife, found herself struggling to pay the bills. She took a job as a cook in a wealthy family's household, and that started Winnie on her path. Money was so tight by the time Winnie had finished her sixth year at Hogwarts, her mother had lost the house. Winnie was now, essentially, homeless. So she took her first job as a cook working in another family's house and never went back to Hogwarts to finish her seventh year. She's been through 2 other houses before finally getting the job with the Burkes. She's happy and comfortable here and hopes she'll be able to stay for a long time.
RP Sample: OK, I admit it. I borrowed much of her personality from Sookie.
Your Name (or name on the board): We're like lemmings. One person pushes the button and we all must follow suit.
