Melody entered Flourish & Blotts inhaling deeply. She sighed to herself. She walked up and down the aisles looking for some books for school. She gave up and asked the clerk where the used books were and the clerk pointed her on her way. She walked to the used book aisle and found what she was looking for all the way on the top shelf.
She stretched on her tiptoes and pulled the book out from a pile of books and fell backwards with the books tumbling down on top of her. She covered her head with her arms in an attempt to shield herself from falling books. She heard a masculine voice above her and she looked up. She stared at the ground again embarrassed.

Apollo was in Flourish and Blots restocking on his quills and ink. he went through a lot of ink, being the avid note taker he was, and he was in his own little world when he heart a giant crash from somewhere across the small shop.
He rushed over, as did the owner of the store, and while the older man was fussing over the books, Apollo was more concerned with the girl under them. She was young, much younger than him, he thought, but she was definitely a Hogwarts student.
Apollo ran a hand through his hair, kneeling down to be eye level with her. "Are you all right, doll? Are you hurt?"

"I uh..um...no" Melody sighed and looked at the ground. She pushed a few books off her and looked up. She took his hand and pulled herself up. "Thanks for the help. I don't think I've properly introduced myself. My name is Melody Lyric and I am a second year student at Hogwarts. What's your name?" She looked up because of how much taller he was than her. She felt a pain in her arm and looked at her right arm.
She glanced down to see her right forearm was bleeding. Tears began to come out of her eyes. She couldn't stand it when she bled. Blinding pain shot into her arm and she whimpered. She covered her cut and sighed.
