Arystar decided to start the day with a fresh start! His head throbbed a little from the late night of the before, but he didn't want to dwell to much on all of that at the moment. He stepped off the main street into another and saw all sorts of new and strange things! He looked from shop to shop, simply gazing at the things in the windows. He felt confident in doing this,It was safe anyone could do this. It showed in his stride, how he squared his shoulders and his gaze that fell on everything with a studied and measuring gaze. He loved how everything looked, jeweled snakes and skulls, gruesome masks, He only wished he had some place were to put all such wonderful things!
*he has bad taste, he can't help it.*

(I was going to wait to see if anyone else replied to you first, but, well.. Claudia needs some play.)
Even in the light of morning, Knockturn Alley was dark. Even Claudia wouldn't go there in the dark... she was far too pretty and inviting to the types that frequented the alley in the dark. So she usually did her shopping in the light, such as it was.
Today she was shopping for some ingredients for a potion she was planning to slip into a muggle reservoir that would cause the local residents to grow hair all over. It was a mean and basically pointless trick, but without direction from the Dark Lord, she had to make her own fun.
Dressed in a black cloak with a hood, she walked briskly down the alleyway and nearly ran into someone who had the nerve to gawk in the windows.

Arystar had been admittedly not paying attention to where he was going, but nonetheless, someone walking into him jarred him. He wind milled his arms for a moment, being caught off balance and grabbed the first thing he felt touch his hand, which ended up being a black cloak. He fell back wards still clutching the cloak with one hand, yanking it off as he fell. He was momentarily dizzy and his rear was stinging from his short fall. Shaking his head to clear his vision he looked up at the blond haired woman that walked into him. She did not look happy, he looked down to his hand that he realized was holding something and saw it was a cloak that wasn't his, he quickly looked up with a face of shocked apology and stammered "I-I'm so very s-sorry! I hadn't been paying attention to where I was going!" He quickly stood up and tried in vain to get the street dust from the cloak by shaking it off and swiping at it with his hand. He was so flustered he forgot to use his wand. What was worse was the fact that the woman he had managed to de-cloak was also very pretty! He blushed furiously high on his cheeks; 'mortifying' was his only thought. Why oh why was he always managing to make a fool of himself with women?

Claudia was seething at this outrageous attack upon her person. Were she anywhere else besides Knockturn Alley, she would have summoned for assistance to have this man arrested for inappropriate conduct. But in Knockturn Alley, the unspoken rule was each man--or woman--for himself.
"You should learn to watch where you're going," she said coldly. "Do you make a habit out of ripping women's clothes off?"

Arystar blushed to the roots of his hair. "I don't make a habit of such things in public!" he was glad he hadn't squeaked out the response. Her anger was enough to jolt him into remembering to magic her cloak clean. Handing it back to her as if offering something to a queen slightly bowed his head and said. "Again, I'm sorry. I was just too engrossed in ever thing here. I hadn't been to this alley..." he didn't want to say that he hadn't been there ever. "I'll promise to pay closer attention to where I'm going." It was more of a promise to himself than to her, but maybe it would flatter her enough to calm her ire.

"Oh, but you do have a habit of doing it in private?" Claudia replied, narrowing her eyes at him. The effect was rather like a cat that had just spotted a mouse.
Her icy gaze took in the sight of him, passing judgement on him. He was a buffoon, surely. She doubted he'd ever so much as kissed a woman on the lips, let alone actually removed any clothing on purpose.

Arystar's face went blank, clenching his jaw determinedly, he wasn't a chaste little boy, and he had read of the subject and knew more or less how everything happened. Enough knowledge to him was the same as not being pure. He hated being passed over as stupid and naive. Standing from his bowed position he swirled her cloak around her shoulders and clasped it. "If I do make it a habit, It's not polite discussion for a lady." his face was a gentle smirk. He stepped around her and making a mock bow to her to continue down the street.

Even Claudia's laugh was cold enough to send chills down a person's spine. "You really are a regular boy scout, aren't you. I assure you, I may be a woman, but I'm hardly a lady. Maybe one day you'll learn the difference."
For some reason, as annoyed as she was, she was rather in the mood to play with this idiot for a while. Maybe she'd put him under the Imperius Curse, just for fun. She could make him come on to random strangers. Maybe male ones. The possibilities were endless...

Arystar didn't like this woman; she was crude. "Every woman is a lady until she proves otherwise, you've just proved yourself otherwise." he said sticking his hands into his robe pockets. "The difference is that I prefer ladies, Boy Scout or not, I just don't believe in being rude for the sake of it." Arystar mentally added 'unlike you.’ Something about this woman screamed danger, but he didn't want to appear as if he was running away from her, which would only inflate her already bloated ego, she had to have a bloated ego if she walked around acting like a snotty witch too good for even kind flattery!

She was getting annoyed with him now. How dare he act like he thoguht himself better than her! He was the foolish boy who was gawking at the storefronts and ripping the clothes off of unsuspecting women! It was really outrageous, and she was strongly considering taking him to the authorities. But of course, Claudia worked better outside the law.
Pointing her wand at him, she smiled sweetly and said, "Imperio!"

Arystar's eyes widen for a fraction of a second as he heard the unforgivable curse. How could anyone avoid such a calculating curse? From that range? No one! Not even poor Arystar. His final thought was that perhaps he should just leave her fuming. His naive honesty was always costing him so much. Often his foot was in his mouth or he deeply regretted being so blunt. The idea that the truth was always better seemed woefully overrated at this point in time. He felt like he was locked in a room with no way out, he vaguely felt his body relax and his eyes grew a little unfocused. So he stood there waiting for an order or anything, inside he couldn't bring himself to be even the slightest bit indignant at his slavery.

Claudia didn't do anything for a moment after the curse had taken hold on Arystar. She leaned back, almost appraisingly, trying to figure out just what use this foolish boy might be to her. There had to be something, surely. As amusing as it would be to make him sing muggle music at the top of his lungs, or run around squealing like a monkey, there was no purpose in it, and it would really just be a petty prank. Not that she had a problem with being petty.
Walking slowly around him, she smiled. There were plenty of uses for him, she was sure of it. She pondered using him to spy on Bellatrix, but decided that Bella would probably see through the plan.
"You will make friends with a female auror and find out what she knows and what the Ministry's plans are to fight Lord Voldemort. Then you will report back to me."

Arystar drew sharply into focus on what she said. Strangely, having told him what to do filled him with a sense of purpose. His eyes re-focused and he looked...The Woman. Even in his head it felt like a title and not just what she was. An Auror, He had to make friends with an Auror. "As you wish madame." he dipped his head in a slight bow to her, he would have to use his academic skills that he hardly used in his current vagrant lifestyle. Usually he was a kind of wallflower, he would most everything pass him by and have no regret of it. He had been exploring his adventurous side, now because of The Woman he was shoved head first into a tactic he had only ever read about in novels and short stories.
