Ted sent Veronica an owl asking her to meet him at the Hot Panini for lunch. He knew word of his elopement to Andromeda would start to get out soon, and he wanted to be the one that she heard it from. They were friends, afterall, and at least Arthur heard it from the source. As far as he knew, Andromeda was telling Molly, and that just left Veronica.

He did feel bad that he hadn't invited her, but he wouldn't have changed the way he and Andromeda married for anything... unless he could have gotten her family to be there.

He was sitting at a booth near the door, waiting for her to arrive, a dopey half smile on his face.

Veronica was glad to hear from Ted. She knew about him and Andi getting back together, but after not hearing from him for a couple of days, she was a little worried that something might have happened to separate them again. So receiving the invitation from Ted was a relief. Still, she couldn't help being curious about what the little lunch date was all about.

She arrived promptly, as always, and looked around the restaurant for Ted. She found him quickly, and broke into a smile at the sight of him. He looked like he was OK, which eased her worries.

"Ted!" she said, approaching the table. "What's going on?"
