"I have initiative," Sedona said, raising one delicate eyebrow. Her hand was up near her mouth as though she was still holding a cigarette, her other arm crossed over her stomach. She definitely read his invitation as such, and she couldn't help the grin that spread across her lips, although slowly.
"Where are you headed tonight?" she asked, her tone almost lazy as she watched him, her eyes taking him in and trying to read him. Then, her grin grew. "Do you want company?"

"That," Ryder mumbled, leaning closer to her, keeping at least a two inch gap between the two, "is a good answer." He didn't want to do anything quite yet, her cigerette was still burning between her, and any type of burn or anything would definately take Ryder out of the mood. He wanted to do something he wasn't used to, and Sedona was the kind of girl that he felt almost comfortable with.
Ryder chuckled udner his breathe. "I was just taking a walk down the street. Although, I think I might cut it short. Anywhere you want to go?"
Ryder wasn't quite sure where she wanted to go, although he was hoping she said something that might lead somewhere sexually. This was his opportunity to show himself that he could live Tyler's easy life if he so chose (although he had no intention of switching to TYler's professional as a bar stool heater).

If she wasn't still under her father's protective watch, she would have asked Ryder to take her home. As it was, perhaps it was luck that she wasn't taking a employee of the Santino family back home. Although, had she known who he worked for, she probably wouldn't be doing anything differently. She was best friends with a Santino, after all.
She shrugged at his question, though one delicate eyebrow rose as her hands dropped to her sides. She kept her eyes on his, doing nothing to close the gap between them. She didn't need to rush anything just yet.
"Just somewhere quiet. Do you know of anywhere?" It was definitely an opening for him to invite her back to his place, or wherever he wanted her.

If Ryder knew anything about who Sedona was related too, he would have apparated immediately. He wasn't one to go against his career to venture off with a girl. He could lose his position as right hand, not to mention all of Marcello's hard earned trust and respect. Depsite all the risks that Ryder loved to take, messing with his career was not one of them.
"I live alone, in a small apartment," Ryder kept to his own distance, suddenly seeing that giving in could be somewhat of a competition. He didn't like losing. "I consider it quiet, and somewhat warmer than standing here."

There it was, the invitation she was looking for. It was perfect, and exactly what she'd been waiting for.
She pushed herself away from the wall a bit, inching closer to him. She wasn't quite giving in yet, but she was closer. It didn't need to be a game... they both obviously knew what they wanted and there was no reason to pretend otherwise.
"Yeah? Why don't we go there? I am a little... cold."

Ryder smirked at her, and pushed himself off the wall right after her, standing with just enough space between the two to be considered 'not touching'. He was still playing his little game, seeing who gave in first. It was pointless, they both knew what would happen. But this part was a lot like the last few seconds before a race, the adrenaline before the shot of a gun to start everyone running. It was almost worth playing.
"And how would you like to get there? Walking or would you like to grab on for a side-long apparition?" Ryder asked innocently.

Sedona's smile was sly, his not so innocent question making her almost laugh. She liked him, she decided, and contrary to popular belief, she was actually pretty picky with the guys she let get to know her, as it were.
"Well, if it's terribly far... I'm not exactly in walking shoes." She glanced down quickly, motioning to her high heeled shoes. She could have made an argument either way, but it wasn't like either of them was terribly interesting in getting to know the other person. That was a laugh.
