"All fun classes. I like Defense Against the Dark Arts over all of them. Something about it just interests me. And I love Astronomy. I love looking up at the stars and the moon." She said, getting a dazed look in her eyes. She looked back at Remus, shrugged, and smiled. "I guess I'm a little odd, but I like going to my classes."

The stars were one thing, but the moon was another thing entirely. He couldn't look at it, even when it wasn't full. Actually, he was never conscious enough to even see the full moon in reality, so it was only during the other phases of the moon when he could really see it at all. He hated the sight of it, and all the feelings it stirred up inside of him. He really was kind of a slave to it, and he couldn't quite stop himself from feeling bitter about it.
Of course, he said none of this to Vanessa. Instead, he replied. "Astronomy is OK, I guess, but I switched it out for Care of Magical Creatures. I didn't like waking up at midnight to go to class."
It was a reasonable excuse, which he had carefully prepared. No one should be suspicious of that.

"Yeah, It does get tiring...But I think it's worth it. I personally don't mind it." She said with a smile. She looked at his face more closely and saw that his expression was changing. It looked to her like he was trying to hide his sudden bad mood. "Hey, Remus? Are you alright?" She questioned, geniunely concerned. It had something to do with her over caring heart and mostly to do with the crush....

Remus shook his head quickly and tried to smile. "Oh... yeah. It's nothing. I think I just started getting a little bit of a headache. Potions always does that to me, I swear." He laughed lightly, then came up with an impulsive idea.
"Hey... Why don't we go down to the kitchens and get some hot chocolate or something? Maybe we could get some snacks, too... stuff we can bring back up here and eat while we work. I always study better with food. What do you say?"

Vanessa chuckled a bit. "Yeah, sure. I'm starving anyways. And I can use a break from studying." She said, running a hand through her hair. She stood up and smoothed out her skirt and untucked shirt. She got her bag and stuffed her books unto them. "Let's go." She said with a smile.
