Raven turned down to Knockturn Alley. She needed to get some stuff for her family. "Miss Carter. What a pleasure." said and old looking witch. Raven smiled and continued to walk on. She pushed pass various dark witches and wizards to get to her destination. It was busy today for some strange reason.

Claudia had mostly been lying low ever since the Hogsmeade attack. Although she was proud of having led the attack, she certainly didn't want to be associated with it in society circles. She had worked hard to attain her high level of respectability. She didn't care if she was liked, but the last thing she needed was the Ministry getting on her case.
Today, she was walking down Knockturn Alley, shrouded in black lace, with a black veil over her face. She looked like a widow--which, technically, she was. But the casual observer would assume that her husband had died recently, instead of 5 years ago.
As she walked, a young girl brushed against her, and she turned, glaring icily at the chit. "Watch where you're going, little girl," she hissed.

"Oh sorry I didn't see you there. I need help." she said. Then she lowered her voice. "I need to know where I can become a Death Eater." she whispered. She looked around and smiled. "Don't worry my parents and my elder brother are dark witches and wizards too." she smiled. "My name is Raven Emily Carter." she put out her hand.

Claudia stared at the girl for a moment, suppressing the urge to laugh. How old was this child? And she thought she could work for the Dark Lord? The idea was, quite frankly, preposterous.
"Don't be ridiculous, child," she said in her frosty tone. "You couldn't be more than... what? Thirteen? Fourteen? What makes you think you could be of any use to the Dark Lord? Your powers aren't even fully developed yet. I don't care who your family is, he wouldn't take you. Come back in a few years."

"Don't be so sure. May powers are developed I'm quite strong at all three curses." said Raven. "My mother knew you...Claudia Morley." she smiled evilly. Raven put up the hood of her robe. "I'm a skilled young witch." she added. She walked off without another word.
