As Raven walked down to the lake to read her book about the dark arts she realized that the Slytherins had taken a dislike to her. She didn't care she knew spells that feared to utter. A Gryffindor past her. "Oi Carter no so big now your brother's not here are you?" the boy sneered. Raven drew her wand so fast the boy didn't have time to blink. She grabbed him by the scruff of the neck. "Say that again and I swear I will make your like a living Hell." she growled. She threw the Gryffindor away like garbage. She went back to her book and read more about the killing curse.

It was her own deep misfortune that Alecto happened by as this was happening, and she eyed the Gryffindor. The boy was stupid to cross a Slytherin anyway, so she didn't feel badly for him, but the fact that he was run off by Carter... she rolled her eyes. Really, where was all this courage Gryffindors were supposed to be known for?
"You know no one actually respected or liked your brother, don't you? I wouldn't try too hard to fill his shoes."

"I know and sorry about the other day nerves and all." Raven said. She put her wand away. "I know how cruel my brother can be. He takes his anger out on me most of the times. She took off her robe and sweater to revel the scars left by Leon's attacks. "I tried to defend myself but I was only seven at the time." Raven explained. "I want to be your friend Alecto. I know you can point me in the right direction." she said with a smile.

Alecto was watching as the girl revealed her scars, and she almost sneered. No, that was an understatement. She definitely sneered. Who cared what this girl had gone through? No one had it easy these days, and she couldn't bring herself to care. In fact, after the other day, Alecto rather thought she'd be better friends with this girl's brother than with her. Friends. Ha!
She crossed her arms over her chest and raised an eyebrow. "Really, Carter, you're mental if you even believe half of what you're saying. I don't want to be your friend. I don't want you to learn anything from me. You should really work on your first impressions. And your little sob story there-" she waved her hand, gesturing the scars. "Boo hoo."

"You know this personality of yours is not going to get you anywhere." said Raven putting her stuff back on. "You have an attitude problem I suggest you sort it otherwise your gonna get in a lot of trouble one day and it wont be with Dumbledore." Raven warned. She grabbed her back and walked away. "How on this Earth does she call herself a Slytherin? She's a traitor to the name." Raven muttered. An owl flew by and dropped her a letter. Dear Raven. Its Leon, if those fake scars didn't work my dear sister I have something else in mind. Go back to her and tell her that her family has Muggle blood in it. She won't like that one bit. Love, Leon. After reading the letter Raven smirked and turned back to Alecto. "You know something..." she began.

((OOC: How does her brother know EXACTLY when to send that letter? And actually... Alecto is a Slytherin to make Salazar proud...))
Alecto let out a snort of a laugh. "Attitude problem? That's rich, coming from you." Merlin, this girl was like a cockroach that refused to die no matter how many bug killing potions you threw on it. She needed to learn that Alecto did not like to be bothered, and she could make the rest of her years at Hogwarts a living hell. In fact, Alecto would enjoy every second of torturing this girl in the most obvious and the most subtle ways.
Alecto almost growled when the girl came back, and she turned on her heel to face her. "I know several things. I know that you're incompetent and insufferable. I know that my so called attitude problem is just because I don't like you, and I know that you're going to get yourself in trouble one day too. Oh, wait, that day is today."

((OOC: Raven and Leon have a specail link between them which tells them when either of them need help. Can we please become friends you know in secret))
"You not so sure are you. I'm quite good a Divination. I glimpsed into your future and its not good." she smiled. Raven ignored Alecto's insults! She looked at her with dark eyes. "Look you're not the most popular girl here and I know I'm not but I'm sad to say you have some traces of Muggle in your bloodline." said Raven. She sat down and pulled out her Dark Arts book and began to read it carefully. She had just got up to the chapter on how to use the Crucartus Curse properly. Raven smiled.

"Well, no, I imagine my future is quite miserable if you keep hanging around," Alecto retorted. She didn't believe for a second that this girl was any good at Divination, which was a class of bull, anyway. All that inner eye crap was for idiots.
She rolled her eyes at the next comment. She knew for a fact there wasn't a muggle in her family for generations back, and she wasn't one to take the bait where insults and teasing were concerned. She found it annoying that Raven even tried.
"Are you done yet, little girl? I'm rather looking forward to ignoring you again."
