Genevieve smiled a mysterious smile. Since Logan was Lance and Josh's roommate, she saw quite a bit of him. So she felt quite at ease joking around with him.
"Well, now, girls, I guess now that the enemy has arrived, we can't talk about boys anymore. We can't let him in on any secrets now, can we?"

Logan grinned. "How bout if I put on a wig? I'm sure I could find one upstairs somewhere." He joked and winked at her. He put on a bad immitation of a female voice. "Like, Omg. Isn't he just super cute?" He flung his hands around in over exaggerated movements and chuckled. "You should so, definetley tell me your secrets. I swear I won't tell. Scouts honnor." He said, holding up two fingers in the process.

Kat had spaced out, daydreaming about nothing in particular. She zoned back in when Roxanna walked in and Genevieve commented on her hair. Kat had to agree with that, and she nodded.
"Hi Logan," Kat said. She knew him somesort, he was in her house and year and all. "How are you," she asked politely.

Logan grinned at Kat. He knew her name and that she was in his year. They hadn't talked a whole lot but she was nice and polite. He saw her as a little quiet though. "Hey Katarina. I'm doing pretty good. And yourself?" He replied, trying to sound as polite. He was the kind of guy who was nice to anybody. Sure he loved to do stupid things and pull a few pranks but, he would always be the one to break up a fight or keep it from happening all together.

"Not bad," Kat smiled. "Nothing too exciting these days," well that was a bit of an understatement. But the news about her parents wasn't something Kat was ready to flaunt around the castle just yet. "Been causing any trouble lately?" Kat grinned. "not picking on those poor first years, are you?"

He laughed. "I might have caused a little problem." He said with a grin and thought back to this morning. "I convinced a first year ravenclaw that if he said the words "tin grapes" and pointed his wand at a teacher, they were pop like you squeezed a grape." He laughed and at the thought of the kid trying the spell over and over again on his least favorite teacher. "That was fun."

"Proffessor Graham. I think that's her name. The History of Magic teacher." He replied and shrugged. "He didn't get into too much trouble. The teacher couldn't figure out what he was doing, the kid kinda got scared and froze up, and when she asked him what that was all about he just...ran away." He laughed again. "It was really hilarious."

Nick had recieved a new Quidditch magazine in the post that morning and was heading to the common room to read when he saw a group of his housemates talking avidly. He heard the end of Logan's tale about the first year and snickered. Poor firstie...
"Hey guys," Nick said, rolling up his magizine and sticking it in his back pocket.

Logan looked up at the sound of Nick's voice. "Oh, hey man. What's up?" He didn't know him well. But he knew that he was taking Roxanne, who was like a little sister to him, to the Yule Ball. He gave him a friendly greeting anyways, wanting to get to know him.

Genevieve had gotten distracted by thoughts of Lance and had totally lost track of the conversation. In fact, it was a little surprising to her to see that Nick had joined them. When had he showed up?
She giggled. "I don't really know," she told Nick. "I guess I zoned out for a minute. Hi, Nick! I didn't even realize you were here!"

Roxanna smiled, thinking of the blonde jokes she could have made, but didn't let them slip. Genevieve was nice, and she wasn't about to have her mad at her for something as stupid as a joke.
"Well, we were talking about boys, but a few of their kind seemed to have joined us," She smiled at Genevieve, "so we can talk about whatever you want." She said.

"You two would like that, wouldn't you," Kat laughed, rolling her eyes at the boys. She wondered vaguely where Tim was, and assumed that he was spending the afternoon with his brothers and sister. She then turned back to the convorsation at hand.
"I'm surprised Nicky here isn't out on the pitch," Kat said. "I hardly ever see you sans-broom, Mr. Keeper."

Audrey danced in from the girls dorms with a song stuck in her head. She over heard her brother immitating a girl and raised an eyebrow at him. She plopped down beside him with a smirk. "Hey Logan? Is there something you're not telling me? Have you finally come out of the closet, brother dearest?" She asked mockingly and flinched away from the swat she knew was coming.
