Diana was as cool as a picture but frantic beneath the frame, she knew her daughter attended Hogwarts, she protected her during the attack, and somehow, she simply knew that it was her own she had saved, but now she needed to put a name to a face, and somehow ...someway get in touch with her.
She couldn't just walk up and say "I'm your mother, what's you're name?" no, she had to do things very carefully, she had to plan this just right, she only had one shot, and therefore she needed help.
After being directed to his office she stepped inside "Hello?"

Dumbledore was in the middle of writing something, but he looked up as the door opened. He usually recognized his old students, at least by face if not by name. But he couldn't quite place the woman in front of him. He sized her up quietly as she moved the rest of the way into the room.
"Please... have a seat," he said, nodding to the chair in front of his desk. "What can I do for you?"

Diana recalled the brief memories she had while she attended Hogwarts oh so long ago. She remembered that even back then she was obsessed with Christian, she had loved him for a long time. Pushing those thoughts away she looked at the headmaster and smiled just a bit fondly.
"Professor." she said then chuckled a bit at herself, old habbits died hard. "I..uh...I'm Diana Crawford." she said knowing that she was popular back when she attended school although perhaps not for noticible reasons that would catch Dumbledore's attention.

The name, however, did ring a bell, and Dumbledore nodded immediately. "Yes, of course," he replied, the familiar knowing smile reappearing on his face. "I remember now. It seems my old age is finally starting to affect my memory just a bit. It's good to see you, Ms. Crawford. What can I do for you?"
He adjusted his half-moon spectacles to see her better, and his eyes twinkled with curiosity. It was not unusual for former students to visit, but he couldn't help but wonder what had brought her here today.
