Full Moon Rising

[Zander Smith]

Zander nodded. "Nice to meet you, Dean... I'm sorry ithad to be like this. Come on, let's see if we can find our things. Pearl, we'll meet you guys back here in a bit, OK?"

[Pearl Nacreous]

Pearl nodded and quickly embraced Zander whispering in his ear "No more guilt, and have patience." she kissed him on his ear and smiled as she walked away.

[Remus Lupin]

Remus had found his clothes, which were ripped in pieces, and his wand, which was, luckily, intact. He used his wand to magically repair his clothes, making them look more ragged and patchy than ever. He sighed and got dressed while he waited for Pearl to come back. Something had happened the night before, he was sure of it.

[Pearl Nacreous]

pearl stepped through the thinest patch of trees and spotted Remus. She giggled at him slightly and said "You should start to get better with that charm, so many times you've used it Remus." she picked up her own ragged dress and walked towards a patch of wet moss to take some of the mud off.

[Remus Lupin]

Remus grinned slightly. "Yeah, I'm not very good at fixing charms, or cleaning charms actually." He walked over to her. "What happened last night? Did Zander bite Dean?"

[Pearl Nacreous]

Pearl nodded "Sadly yes, he did. We have a new pack member, a new pup. We have to be both supportive and wary of him, he's a defiant one Remus." she said as she finished taking the mud off her body. She slipped the dress over her head and turned to face him taking some of the other stick and leaves out of her hair.

[Remus Lupin]

Remus frowned. "Yeah, he is. He's not a nice person, Pearl. He was really mean to me and my friends at camp. I don't think this is going to make him nicer." If only Dean hadn't followed them the night before... "It wasn't Zander's fault... Dean followed us and wouldn't leave. I think he wanted to get me and Kris in trouble."

[Pearl Nacreous]

Pearl frowned " He was born out of anger. He'll be harder relate to the rest of us now, we now live with each other in peace. He might be more inclined to use his new talents against us, which is why you younger ones must learn to sharpen your skills." she said wagging her finger to and fro

[Remus Lupin]

Remus nodded. "OK," he said. "Too bad James and I didn't get to try out that itching powder prank on him." He put his wand in his pocket and tried to smooth out his hair. "I wonder how the rest of the pack did. I bet they didn't have as exciting a night as we did."

[Pearl Nacreous]

"Most certainly not!" Pearl giggled. "Shall we go find your sister or shall we go and fetch Zander and Dean?" she asked as she slipped on one of her shoes

[Remus Lupin]

"Um, I guess we should fine Kris," Remus said. "I don't really want to see Dean yet, anyway." He wondered to himself whether things would be different with Dean back at camp. The last thing he wanted was for Dean to go around telling people his secret.

[Kris Lupin]

Kris woke up wondering where she was, it took her a few moments to remember meeting Remus and running into Dean and then Zander. She couldn't remember anything after running off with Remus, she held her head as she sat up. Her head was spinning but nonetheless she stood up and began looking for her clothes and wand.

[Remus Lupin]

Remus walked with Pearl, sniffing the air as he went. He still wasn't as good at picking out scents as many of the others were, but he was starting to improve. Finally, he caught a familiar scent on the wind and followed it to where Kris was. "Hey," he said. "How are you?"

[Kris Lupin]

"A bit lightheaded..." Kris said as she finially found her clothes. She picked them up and saw they were ripped and shredded. "Now what am I gonna do?" She couldn't use her wand because she didn't know where it was nor did she know the right spells.

[Remus Lupin]

Remus yawned. He was feeling particularly drained after last night's transformation. "Here, I can fix that for you. I'm not that great at the charm... it'll still look patched. But it'll be good enough to get you home." He walked over to her and tapped the pile of rags with his wand. "Reparo," he said. The clothes were instantly mended. "It was the first spell I ever learned," he admitted.

[Kris Lupin]

"I actually forgot that spell, even if I hadn't I have no clue where my wand is." Kris said as she put her mended clothes on. She smiled slightly. "Maybe next time I should keep it inside." She looked at him then held her head as she felt lightheaded again. "Where's Zander?"

[Remus Lupin]

"Maybe I could try a summoning spell," Remus said. "I'm not too good at that one, either, but I could try. Zander's with Dean. He turned him last night." He frowned, making his opinion clear. "He shouldn't have followed us."

[Kris Lupin]

"Yeah, I don't know why he followed us." Kris said as she began looking for her wand. "I barely remember coming here, I know I don't remember anything after running off with you."

[Remus Lupin]

"We'd just barely managed to reach Pearl before we changed," said Remus. "I don't think anything else interesting happened. I think we were just lucky that we weren't near Dean when we changed. If all of us had been there, we might have killed him." Secretly, Remus thought that might have been better than what had happened, but he felt evil for even thinking it. He held up his wand and closed his eyes. "Accio Kris's wand!" After a minute, a small piece of wood hurtled through the air, spinning like a top in mid-air. It hit Remus on the head, then dropped to his feet. "See, I told you I wasn't that good at it," he said with a grin. He picked up her wand and handed it to her.

[Kris Lupin]

"Well, you are just learning." Kris said smiling as she took her wand. "But keeping your eyes open might help some." She put her wand in her pocket. "I am glad we weren't there, I wouldn't be able to live knowing I helped kill someone.
