That brow was reaching up again. Meet her look-a-like? Why? Well she supposed it would be strange for anyone to meet their doppleganger but Acelynn wasn't really interested she only wanted to meet or reconnect with her sister, to hold her, to protect her as she never had been able to when she was younger.
She smiled at the boy who was still trying so hard, and if she had a weakness it was for the "underdog" so to speak. It wasn't that she was out of his league, she simply wasn't interested, and for as much as she could sense that he could take care of himself, he for whatever reason reminded her of a puppy, one that needed a little help. " Dawn?" she asked.

Dean nodded. "Dawn knows her, I think. She's, uh..." he hesitated, wondering just how to phrase this so that she would not immediately freak out.
"I kinda live with a bunch of people, all around my age. Dawn was staying with us for a while... she was sick. She had these memory problems or something. She's better now, though. She used to live with your lookalike and her boyfriend and... this older chick.... before she came to us. Anyway... she'd probably know her name. In fact, if she saw you, I'm sure she'd say the same thing... you look so much like her."

She was trying to keep up with his story but ended up with a slightly amused look on her face, she doubted she'd run into him again, she didn't really frequent bars at all, she was just here to meet an informant. "I'm glad your friend is doing better now." she said picking that much up at least. Again he was talking about the girl that looked like her, Acelynn didn't put two and two together, though if she had known how close she was to finding her sister she would have cried. But when they were younger they looked different from one another, in fact not many would call them sisters even, so to find out now that they were very much like twins was unbelievable.

He could see she wasn't buying his story. But by now, it was getting to be something of a personal mission. He needed to prove that he was not insane. She probably thought he was a complete idiot, and he was long past any attempts to impress her. Now he just wanted to convince her that he wasn't making up stories.
"Thanks," he said. "But, seriously, I'm sure that if I talked to her I could find out this girl's name. Maybe she could even arrange a meeting, if you wanted. I just... I know you think I'm making this up, but I swear I'm not."

It wasn't so much she wasn't buying his story, he seemed sincere enough and truly he wanted to believe what she was saying, it was simply that she didn't care much if she did have a twin out there somewhere.
"That's not entirely necessary. I'd rather not meet my doppleganger but relax you don't have to prove anything," she nudged him, "Just have fun. I haven't run away yet."

Dean studied her for a minute. She really did look like the werewolf girl he had met in the woods that day, but her demeanor was in every way different. She carried herself differently as well, and her voice was different. Maybe he really was exaggerating the resemblance between them. Still, he would have liked to see them both together to compare.
But at any rate, there was no further point in talking to her about it. She wasn't interested in meeting her lookalike. Yet she didn't seem to mind talking to him. So he changed the subject.
"OK, then," he said. "Why don't you tell me something about yourself?"

"There you go." she smiled, glad he was a little more comfortable, and he had changed his tack about her look alike. She took a lazy sip of her drink then shrugged, "What's there to tell?" she asked, she didn't really pride herself on her history, and she'd have rathered not go into it, still to throw him a bone she smiled, " I like impertinent young men."

Dean broke into a grin. Maybe he hadn't done as poorly with her as he'd previously thought. He somehow doubted that he'd be able to convince her to go home with him, but she wasn't completely turned off by him, either. Maybe he could ask her out for coffee or drinks or something.
But he was smart enough to know that he'd need to work his way up to that.
"I'm sure there's more to tell than that," he replied. "How about what you do for a living? Or some hobbies you might have?"

She shrugged, she didn't see the harm in indulging the boy, "I'm a doctor." she told him nonchalantly. One of the youngest, and certainly in the rare female varitey. If she was a different person she might have felt very accomplished having her medical degree as well as being a female doctor in a time where that was very unlikely, but she wasn't that kind of person. Instead she was solely concerned with finding her sister and helping her.
She didn't know how close she was to the truth.

Dean was suitably impressed. A doctor... that was unexpected, especially for one as young as she was. Of course, it also meant that she was definitely, unquestionably out of his league. What was he? An unemployed, poor orphan who ran with werewolves. He really had no business even talking to her. Not that this had ever stopped him before, or was likely to stop him now.
"Cool," he said. "A doctor. You know, I've got this old injury that's been bothering me lately..." He winked at this.

"Really?" she asked her eyes sparkling with mirth, " How terrible, you know..." she began with a subtle shrug in her shoulders, " injuries that are long left unattended have been known to worsen...if it's bad enough the area of the injury...may have to be severed." she said lightly with a slight smirk in her tone of voice.

He supposed he deserved that. After all, he hadn't actually expected the line to work on her. She was a little too smart for that. "Maybe it's not that bad...." he said, quirking his lip up on one side.
He paused to take another sip of his drink, then nodded toward the dance floor. "So seriously, do you want to dance? Or am I just wasting both of our time?"

She laughed and genuinely smiled, "I'd love to." she replied. She didn't see any romance forming between the two of them, she didn't really foresee romance at all in her future, but rather he had earned a dance or two, and he had spunk, she liked spunk.

But one of Dean's worst qualities was his tendency to get over-confident and start pushing boundaries. Their first dance was a fast dance, however, so during that song, he was pretty well-haved, aside from the occasional suggestive dance step. Really, he wasn't much of a dancer, and wasn't especially coordinated, even before he had been turned. But now, his movements were heavy and graceless, sort of like a bull in a china shop.
But when the next song turned out to be a slow one, he moved closer to her and slipped his arms around her. Even that would have been OK, if his hands hadn't then begun to wonder...

He was being extremely forward and it wasn't that Acelynn was too concerned over morals or modesty but she wasn't in the mood, she kept his hands from wondering by bringing them back to the right spot and threatened to walk a few times if he didn't knock it off.

(I hope you don't mind me joining this thread... I kind of think Dean's part in this thread has run its course...)
Kyle was sitting at a table not far away from where Acelynn was dancing. As usual, his visit to the club was not exactly for pleasure. The reports of vampire activity in the area had increased, and he was here to investigate these claims. So far, however, he had seen no activity that seemed remotely suspicious. It was really only by chance that he glanced in Acelynn's direction and saw the young man getting a little too grabby with the woman.
He scowled as he watched. He had little tolerance for men who did not respect women, and the guy's behavior was dangerously close to crossing the line. But he hesitated, watching as she did her best to keep the kid's hands where she wanted them. He figured he would let her try and deal with it herself first... many women these days didn't appreciate having a man come to their rescue.

When the dance finished she gave the pup a stern look before pulling away, "I think that's enough for me for one night." her contact hadn't even come yet. Checking her watch that made him twenty minutes late and while she was patient she didn't care to stick around.
She made her way back to the bar and sighed, she was too old to be playing these kinds of games and yet here she was. Perhaps she was desperate to take her mind off of her journey. As much as she wanted to find her sister and cure her, she was still heavy hearted at the task.
Then the hairs on her neck stood up and she glanced around for whoever might have been watching her. Her eyes rested on Kyle and she waited for his reaction before responding.
