Acelynn struggled with her groceries in one arm as she tried to maneuver unlocking her door. Using her hip to balance the bags on she leaned against the frame and managed to rotate her wrist just enough to get the door open then stumbled through just barely catching her groceries in time.
She supposed one day she'd have the hang of it and that this would get easier. So far her time in London had been...hectic didn't even begin to describe it. Everything simply moved so much faster in a big city than where she was from, and she was having trouble keeping up.
Laying the groceries on the counter top she pressed the play button to hear for any messages as she set her keys down in a bowl next to the door so she wouldn't misplace them. In her other hand was the mail she had yet to sift through, but in all likelihood it was nothing important. She set it all down and moved toward the back of her apartment still within hearing distance of her machine, she needed to get out of the stiff blouse she had been wearing and put on something comfortable.
"Hey Ace, I think I might have found something. Call me back."
Acelynn sighed hearing Jimmy's voice, there was only so far a girl could move, but in Jimmy's defense he was probably the sweetest guy Acelynn knew. He helped her get settled into her new place, and was helping her still make the transition from her small town office to the grand hospital in London. Not only that, but he also was helping her to locate her sister, and that was the most important thing to Acelynn right now.
Thinking over the past made her despondent, she walked towards the window and glanced outside taking in the night view of the city, "I'll find you Quinn.." she whispered with determination.
