Scarlette just smiled. Maybe Dillon would be good for Ama, but she knew better than to say that to Jamie. He was the older brother, and who was she to step in there?
"Well, if you need anyone to help hide the body, you know where to find me." She flashed him a grin, and then let him into the common room. "I'll be right back," she said, letting go of his hand and taking the stairs to the girl's dorm.
She was back in less than three minutes, tennis shoes on her feet and a cloak in her hand.

As Scarlette went to change shoes, Jamie dashed to his own room to grab a simple cloak. He wanted to make it back down before Scarlette, just to make sure he didn't keep her waiting. Jamie had no idea where they were going to go, except it was definately not the ball. London was mentioned a few times. That sounded good, no one would think to look there. Everyone would just be too wrapped up in the recent going ons to think of them.
At least, that's what Jamie hoped.
He shot Scarlette a big smile, before gesturing to the portraits, "where to madam?"

"I thought we decided on London," she said with a smile, taking Jamie's hand. She was actually really happy they were avoiding the ball. Balls weren't really her thing, even if she liked getting dressed up every so often. That was why she was still in the dress, afterall, and had only changed shoes.
"Come on. You'll like it. But I only know how to get there through Diagon Alley."

"Of course, but where?" Jamie teased, pulling on a strand of her hair softly. "I can take you to any club or resteraunt you want. This night will be all about you, since you seem to be crazy enough to go somewhere with me." He was glad she stayed dressed up,. It made him feel older then he was, less like a child, which he didn't like being considered.
"How are we going to get there?"

"I'm in a ball gown and tennis shoes, and you think the crazy part is going somewhere with you? Jamie, I thought you would have figured it out by now. I like you, you silly boy."
She was leading him towards the way to Hogsmeade, since it was really the best way she knew how to get there. "You've taken your apparation test, right? We just have to get off the school grounds and apparate to Diagon Alley, and then it's just walking from there. And I don't know... I was going to let you choose because you've never been. You Ravenclaws and your adversity to breaking the rules."

"Yeah, but you look good in that somewhat strange ensemble. If I was a girl, I would wear that kind of stuff. All the guys would love me. I'd look pretty, and walk around comfortabley," Jamie thought aloud, jokingly. "Which, in that case, means you should take it off and never wear that outfit again."
Jamie grasped her hand tightly when he remembered he was breaking the rules. But it was for a good cause, he believed, and it was his own choice. He continued to follow her towards the pathway. "Of course. I passed, too. Does that make you feel better? And I believe I have a nice resteraunt in mind. It's by the clocktower."

Scarlette laughed. "I can picture you in this get up," she told him. "You'd make a pretty girl." She was only teasing him, of course, and would much rather not picture him in the ball gown and tennis shoes.
"A nice restaurant?" She repeted, raising an eyebrow. "Why, Jamie, are you going to take me to dinner?" It didn't matter that they didn't lable themselves as boyfriend and girlfriend. She didn't think they needed the lables, to be honest. She just like being with him, and that's all enither of them needed to know.
"Well, I don't know how to side-along apparate yet, so I guess I'll meet you in Diagon Alley?" They were at the edge of the grounds now where there could apparate.
