(Oooooh, these two should go to Maia's and Chase's party, and Maia can play matchmaker with them ) Merlin, it was unfair how he could make her feel like a little school girl. She wished she was brave enough to make a move, but Tim just seemed to relaxed and cool about everything, and she just couldn't be sure. It would be awkward, too, since they worked together, if she made a fool of herself. "Nah, I don't really eat lunch with him too often. He's been working the odd shifts lately, and I don't see him as much as you'd think." Her eyes danced around the cafeteria when he mentioned the other people, and she really wished that whatever they were saying about her and Tim was actually true. She smirked. "We should do something to really make them talk," she said, not serious at all. While she was distracted, he paid for her lunch, and she nudged him. "Hey, you didn't have to do that," she told him, clearly ignoring his comment about not saying anything. "But thank you. I appreciate it. I'll get yours next time, yes?"

"See, I've always know that mind of yours is always turning with something to do," Tim teased. People always seemed to make something more out of what it really was. He had actually fallen victim to that as had the majority of people.
Turning back to look at her after Adrienne nudged him, Tim smiled. "No, you can't get mine next. It's the least I could do considering you always keep me company doing charts or something like that. And no you can't sneak behind my back and do it because I'll always be watching." Just to get a possible smile or laugh from her, he held up to fingers, pointing at his eyes then pointing back at her as he said his last line.
He took a drink from the his pumpkin juice bottle. "How long are they making you work tonight?"

Was it getting hot in the cafeteria? Merlin, she was practically dying and he had no clue. She wondered, more than once, if he was this engaging with all the nurses and reception witches, but then realized that she didn't want to know. She could pretend it was just with her, for now.
"I pulled an extra half shift for Diane- her nephew was here from the attack and was released earlier, so I covered. I'm off at 2, unless, Godric forbid, something happens." She did not return the question because she knew his schedule. To be fair, she was not a stalker- she knew the hours each day of all the medi witches and wizards that worked with her. It was usually helpful knowledge at reception.
