Angelique's headache hadn't let up since the attack on Hogsmeade. It was a constant source of worry to her. Given the sheer size of the attack and the massive number of attackers, Angelique sincerely doubted that they would ever be able to capture all of those responsible. Still, the public was in an outrage. There were dead and injured children and civilians, not to mention the massive property damage. Although most of the damage could be fixed magically, it still took time.
She had to figure out who had led the attack. If she could capture the leader, that would ease the public's mind quite a bit. Unfortunately, the death eater captured by Andromeda Black was not as informative as one might have hoped. This was not because she was good at keeping secrets. It was because, apparently, the girl was really just that dumb. She literally knew nothing. They were lucky they even got her name out of her.
So Angelique was slowly walking the streets of Hogsmeade, trying to find any kind of evidence as to who might have been responsible. She was to meet Gabriel Lowery here. Because the attack qualified as a "magical catastrophe," he was going to help her out on the investigation.

Gabriel knew of the attack on Hogsmeade and it distressed him to even think about it. He knew that he and a few others from his department would go in and look around before everything was cleaned up. They had to find out who did this, and this was a time when they would work closely with the Auror department in order to figure it out.
The thought of even seeing Angelique again made him feel slightly odd. He didn't know what it was, but he would just brush it away, just like he did the first time he felt that way.
He made it to Hogsmeade and started to look around for any evidence that they could find. Hogsmeade was just a mess and Gabriel was not sure where to even start. While he was already looking around, he saw Angelique. Standing up a little straighter, he walked over to her. Clearing his throat slightly, Gabriel clasped his hands together behind his back. "Ms. St. Claire," he greeted her.

Angelique wasn't quite prepared for how it would feel when she saw him again. With all the pressure on her, she had forgotten about the odd feeling she'd had after their last encounter, but now, seeing him again, she felt a strange weakness in her knees. She tried to tell herself it was just stress, and she kept walking.
"Gabriel, hello," she said, opting for the more informal greeting. "It's good to see you again, although I wish it could be under different circumstances."

Managing a tight small smile, Gabriel nodded. "Same here," he said simply. He knew that now wasn't the time to really have a conversation that people usually had. Gabriel knew that he would be a little awkward when it came to 'ordinary' conversation, but he pushed that away. He wasn't sure if he would really be in that situation, but those thoughts left as he tore his eyes away from hers to glance around the area.
Bringing his eyes back to her's Gabriel sighed. "Have you found anything of interest, or did you just get here?"
