Molly was cleaning her last table before she was off for the night, though she wasn't rushing. She was supposed to meet Andi in a few minutes. She hadn't seen her friend in a few weeks, but she heard that she and Ted were back together... she was curious to talk to Andi about that. She was just worried Ted would hurt her again. It wasn't like she didn't have reason to think so.
They rebuilt La Repas very quickly after the attack, though the building next door remained in ruins.
Taking off her white apron and leaving her in her black and white tailored robes, she went outside in the chilly air to wait for Andromeda, sitting on one of the nice benches by the door.

It felt weird to be back in Hogsmeade after the attack. Some places were still in ruins, while others looked almost completely rebuilt. The Black Cat apartments had been pretty badly damaged, but they were rebuilding them quickly, and some people were able to move back in already. Zonko's, the first place hit, was still an ugly pile of rubble. Everywhere Andi went were reminders of that horrible, dreadful day.
But some good things had come of it, too. Some people had proven their heroism, helping others in spite of the danger. Andi smiled when she thought of how Ted had jumped in front of her, blocking her from that curse. It had been brave and noble and... well, crazy. But that was Ted. And she loved him for it. With the stakes so high, how could she stay away from the man she loved?
Andi only hoped that she could make Molly understand the reason why she had taken Ted back. As she approached the street in front of Le Repas Cher, Andi recognized the fiery red shine of her cousin's hair and broke into a smile.
"Molly!" she called, waving.

Molly met Andi's eyes before she stood up, her smile wide.
Truth be told, she was just thankful she could hear her cousin after the attack. It took three days for her hearing to come back, and another two after that for the ringing in them to go away. She supposed that's what happened when you were next to an explosion. A few of the cooks had gone through something similar.
She greeted Andromeda with a hug. "I'm so glad you could come tonight," she said, which was also a way of saying she was glad that Andi was all right. "How are you?"

(Is this before or after the elopement?)
Andi smiled and hugged Molly tightly. "Of course I came," she teased. "I fear your wrath as much as anyone else does." She laughed. "No, I'm kidding. It's so good to see you, Mol. I'm doing good... and you looks like you're doing well yourself. What's goig on with you? Anything?"

(It can be either. To consolidate threads, wanna make it after?)
Molly just smiled and shook her head. "You know I only use my wrath when it's well deserved." Well, in her eyes it was always well deserved. Molly was just fiercely protective of the people she loved, and she couldn't help that.
"I've been fine. Things have been really quiet since the attack, but I shouldn't be complaining."

(yeah, that works)
"I know, Molly. And I adore you for it."
Andi sat down on the bench next to her cousin, fiddling with her ring. It still felt strange on her finger, bulky and awkward and so... obvious. Not that she minded, of course. She wanted everyone to see it and know what it meant. But first, she had to talk to Molly about it... and that would not be easy.
"I'm sure things will pick up soon. With everything that's been going on, a lot of people are scared. But they're not going to stay home forever."

"No, I'm not worried that they will. La Repas won't suffer... too many rich people wanting to eat a fancy restaurant to show off how much money they have." She smiled her, leaning into Andromeda slightly, nudging her with her shoulder. "Aren't you glad you got out of that?"
It was then that a glimmer caught Molly's eye, and she noticed Andi fidgetting with something. A ring. An engagement ring. "What is that?" She asked, her smile gone.

Andi let go of the ring and looked up to meet Molly's eyes. "It's... it's a ring," she said, as if that wasn't obvious. Sighing, she continued, "It's an engagement ring. Actually, I guess it's sort of doubling as a wedding ring for now..."
She hated that she felt just a little bit guilty about this. She didn't regret eloping with Ted, but she did feel bad that Molly didn't really like Ted. With everything that had happened, she just felt that Ted and Molly had started off on the wrong foot. And Molly's mind, once it was made up, could be incredibly hard to change.
"Ted and I eloped. A few days ago, actually."

Molly's expression stayed frozen for a moment as she took in what Andromeda told her, and then she slowly frowned. Andromeda had gotten married, and she wasn't a part of it? She always sort of imagined being Andromeda's maid of honor, and she was selfishly disappointed that Andromeda did something like this without her.
And then she registered the name. "Wait, to Ted? Andi... the same Ted that kissed that Skeeter girl in front of you? And then told you that he was doing it just to hurt you? Did you forget that part, Andromeda?"

Andi sighed. She knew Molly would not approve when she heard. A lot had happened between her and Ted, and Molly only knew half of the story. She only hoped that she could make her cousin understand. She would hate to have to choose between them.
"I didn't forget," Andi said. "But what happened... it wasn't the whole truth. And that horrible story in the Prophet was complete hippogriff dung."
She took Molly's hands in hers, fixing her eyes on her face. "You trust my judgement, right? I know what you think of Ted, but it's not true. He didn't kiss Rita, she threw herself at him... after spending 10 minutes trying to convince him that he was ruining me forever by dating me. He was set up, Molly."
